I think what I found most useful from this video is the "define a RML", because I find this expression severe and gentle at the same time. I found this section more useful for those who want a catalyst for the psychological reactions needed to embrace the destiny of our lives, something like 'amor fati', I mean...something like that is pretty useful.

I absolutely adore your videos and have benefited enormously from so many of your videos and they are so informative and it's the same time although maybe not intended to be there validating to somebody who's suffering from five different mental disorders plus his history of tourette's, a number a physical illnesses and conditions and very acute pain,, and besides all the useful information that helps me to guide my path to d recovery with the help of others and of God,, ...m Nonetheless I do want to respect Elise respectfully rather, could you please please stop saying quote" your rich and meaningful life ". I find it very unhelpful in the midst of intense suffering Could you please next time just say the life you want. Thank you, doc Snipes for all you do and for your caring. You. Are a blessing.

Hello Dr.Snipes. I want to thank you so much for all the content you produce but especially this video! I am in the beginning stages of recovering from my Binge Eating Disorder and its so incredibly helpful to hear these tips and be less hard on myself as a whole. Every point you make is just a huge hit on the nail and it's so easy and clear to see how harsh my line of thinking is when it comes to my progress. I can't express how much clarity you provided, I will keep this video downloaded so when I have a difficult time...I can have a listen and recalibrate myself. I know it will help me immensely during my journey to getting healthier both physically and mentally.

Definitely agree cognitive distortion can facilitate impaired decision-making. For instance when I set my mind on accomplishing something it's like "tunnel vision" & neglect certain aspects or steps required along the way. Focused on the end goal rather than the process. I'm very sensitive to detail. Hope all is well with You & Yours. 🙏🏼

Oh gosh . So useful as always. Actually I'm over right now. I don't even like think about any type of regression or be anxious or depressed again . I got a stage when I had fed up of this stuff . Actually I'm dealing with impact of therapy and attachment with my therapist . I have found me too much thinking about therapy. I think is the best idea just let it go and start a new story of life . Eventually is the great to put everything into journal . Love from Ireland 💚
