Hey Eddie...for the MPI engines like yours Merc says to run a mixture of 5 gal gas and 2 quarts of 2 stroke outboard oil from a remote tank for 10 minutes at 1300 RPM's. This will achieve full "fogging" including the injectors and whole fuel system. Your method here doesn't do anything for your injectors leaving them vulnerable over winter. Pouring it in the throttle body is not recommended on the MPI engines. I got all this information right from the Seloc book. I also change my oil when winterizing to get all the products of combustion and acids out of the engine. Hope this helps and keep the vids coming!

I have never fogged out my engine since early 90's. But interesting how the fogging is completed.

Just a little suggestion. The oil will get acidic due to the exhaust the mixes with it. Change your oil in the end of the season while still using stabilizer.

Eddie, i just watched the video where you engaged the Anchor alarm on your GPS....Any chance you could show more GPS illustrations...for instance, charting, and setting simple travel distances through ICW...etc etc...Good stuff..keep it up

Hi Eddy! I always thought it was better to keep the tank full for the winter to avoid condensation when the boat is stored outside, what do you think?

You know there a lot of mixed opinions on that one. But the majority of boaters that I know do not fill it up. I feel The treatment will work better with less gas. And I always fill up my tanks with fresh gas at the beginning of the season. mixing with the old gas.

i would mix the oil with a little bit of gas to thin it out and poor it in a little at a time you do not want to hydro lock the motor with pooring in large amount of oil/gas/water

I am getting ready to winterize my boat in the next month and am curious if it is alright to remove the flame arrestor when adding fogger into the carb. I have a 1989 Mercruiser 350 with Alpha One sterndrive.

WoW i dont even boat, or have an interest in boating just love your voice and no i'm not gay ;) trying to find what the oil to fuel ratio is on a 2 stroke kTm exc 125 supermoto ;)
