How to Fold a Blanket (With ENGLISH Instructions)

Free Folding Cheatsheet: organizing.tv/free
Here are 3 unique methods to fold blankets. The video comes with instructions in English for all three folding methods.
The first method is a folding method to save space, and it also holds together really well. The second fold is great for large blankets like the ones in your bed, and it will compress them to a nice small cylinder. The third way to fold blankets is a simple and quick one, it can also be modified for a file-folding system.

Might be a couple years old but I really appreciate clear instructions with solid colored blankets. Everyone else uses “pretty” blankets and it’s hard to see the folds!!

I selected 2nd one . By this method I used to convert Hankey to small pillow. I remembered me of my childhood days.😂 It goes well👍

Can you figure out how to fold a matresss pad cover? It’s a fitted mattress, pad, cover quilted, with elastic corners. Similar to a fitted bedsheet please work on it.❤ and in the meantime, I’ll keep trying as well

Here's my approach work to get a srandard shape a square or a rectangle. If you remember to make an envelope flap like this guy you can tuck an end in. Hope that helps you in your efforts!

Any suggestions on finding knitted or crocheted afghans? It's thick but not squishy like a comforter so like for #1 it doesn't stay rolled even with a generous overlap. Thanks for sharing!

I'd avoid the one where you fold it together compactly for knits. The flat one is probably best overall even if it is a little less exciting than the other ones

What method would you use for a quilted blanket, i.e. thicker than the blankets you showed in the video but thinner than a comforter? If I do method 2, it becomes too chunky.

If the one marked as 1 in the thumbnail is too chunky, I'd try number 2 and use a vacuum bag to make it take up less space in storage :)

Is it too thick, or too large? If it is very large you can try folding it in half first then following the steps
