Great tip...to which I would add ( after 30 years of living out of a business suitcase)... put the folded suit into a bag to keeps its folded shape firm ( and so does not unravel in your bag in the hands of baggage handlers...)

The way those sleeves aligned and flattened *inside* the folded jacket... 🔥🔥

Many years ago I packed my suit in my suitcase and it was wrinkled when I took it out. Luckily, I was able to take it in to get it pressed. I wish I had known about this folding technique.

I would suggest just getting a good garment bag or a Briggs & Riley carry on bag with a garment section in it. I travel every week for work and I have never had an issue with my awesome Briggs & Riley bag.

I also put the suite in a sealable plastic bag. The air inside cushions the fabric to a degree and should an item in your toiletries leak it prevents damage.

Insert a paper between pants and blazer and In the end wrap it in a newspaper or any paper. It will prevent any wrinkles

Interesting approach. I particularly like the suggestion of using the pants, which I fold the same way, to prevent creasing in the jacket. For the jacket, I've always had good results folding one exterior shoulder inside of the opposite shoulder and then folding everything in half. I haven't had any problematic creases, and there's less "lining things up" time. The stitching and construction of the shoulders ensures that there is structure to the interlocking shoulders that prevents wrinkling or crushing of the overall shape.

The hanger was too broad for that particular suit Sir, evidenced by the creases at the front shoulder. Also, never wear a suit jacket directly after exposure from a steam filled room, always allow it the air on a balcony, or by an open window. Otherwise, this is a very good explanation of how to best prepare a suit for travel.

You could also invest in a good suit bag, or a handheld steamer. I used a steamer for my wedding suit and it worked super well

This guy has obviously never travelled extensively. Use a roller board suitcase and the suits normal wood hanger. I travelled around the world carrying 2-3 suits 15-20 times/year. All you need to do is hang them in hotel bathroom after running hot shower for 15m to look perfect.

Use a suit bag, don't risk it as a proper suit needs to be pressed if it gets squashed in a bag. My Savile Row Tailor will have a heart attack if he see this

Don‘t think the guy did a lot travelling … the collar will be totally squashed when you get back your checked luggage …

Nice. However, a coat is something that’s worn as an outer layer in cold weather. A suit, on the other hand, has a jacket. Also, pants are underwear, worn beneath the trousers. You Americans really have screwed up the Queen’s English… 😉
