Ever wished you can fly like the top pros like Noical FPV? Today I'm going to show you what makes Noical so fast and how you too, can learn to fly like him.
Reviewing your own or a pro's DVR footage is one of the best ways to improving your fpv drone racing. Only through dissecting each part of a flight are you able to find specific and tangible areas you can improve on.
In this video, I've partnered with NoicalFPV (#1 in the Multigp GQ leader board!!) to show you how I review DVR footage, what to look out for, and how to identify specific areas to improve on.
This process allows you to continuously get better and learn from pilots who are better than yourself, not only can this be applied to racing, it can be applied to freestyle as well!
Let me know if you find this helpful! Please like, comment and subscribe. And let me know if you would like to see other videos of me reviewing flight footage and dissecting the flights.
Please also make sure to sub NoicalFPV - / noical

Yooo - glad this was posted to Reddit. Wouldn't have found it otherwise ... long video but useful. His flying is insane man .... at that speed it is almost just a blur, yes, but he is flying SO accurately I cannot understand how people do it. Maybe in 2-3 years of practice ... hahaha ::: The analogy of "we're basically flying a drift car, you have no grip, you're just adjusting your thrust vector to correct your movement vector" REALLY made it sink in. Thank you!

Hey lerainbow. Thanks! I'm glad u found it helpful. Noical is indeed ridiculously fast but there's so much we can learn when we slow it down. =) I'll be posting more tutorials and analysis soon, hope you find those helpful too!

I can honestly say that I've gotten faster from this video series. This was another good one. Keep it up! BTW, if you pause a youtube video you can use the period and comma keys to advance frame by frame.

@@DroneRacingAcademy i was hoping you can help me out with my race quads and get a better understanding what I need to do to get them to work with my tango 2. I binded one race quad but controls don't work. The other won't bind.. its getting frustrating to the point of feeling like stopping and selling my race quads.

You brought up something that John e fly was talking about in one of his videos! Really important to thing 2 gates ahead rather than just 1!
@DroneRacingAcademy
@DroneRacingAcademy 3 жыл бұрын
That's right! It's definitely helped improve my flying a ton when I started planning gates in advance, especially with tight technical courses. :)

i always do this on my dvr i do slight pre turn but cant do super advance turn im scared to crash. but this video helps me gain confidence on goin lg faster and more pre turn
@DroneRacingAcademy
@DroneRacingAcademy 3 жыл бұрын
I had the same problem, when you pre-turn alot you end up going in a little blind which is a bit scary in the beginning. But once you get used to it it feels really good. Also keep in mind the faster you're going the earlier you have to pre-turn. Please sub for more future content! Would love to have you here again :)
