FPV Drone Orbits are one of the coolest moves you can do for both freestyle and racing, popularized by Marvel in the Avengers (where they orbited around the assembled avengers).
Learn to do the FPV Drone Orbit in this advanced guide, in here I teach how to do the basic orbit and how to make variations to the technique to:
- Wider spin / tighter spin
- Orbit up / down
- Slow / fast
A smooth consistent orbit is a great way to improve your throttle, roll and yaw control, in order to do it smoothly you will need to find the perfect balance between the three.
Orbit is also the building block for more advanced racing techniques such as the ladder and the corkscrew. I will be building off of this to those techniques in future videos.

He needs to show the examples with different pitch camera's, because the stick are gonna movements/positions are gonna look different. he said in a another video that 40 50 60 are quite common, start with those :) But still, its a good video thumbs up!

Thank you so much about your helpful info regarding Orbit. I am trying it out and I must say. Its not easy as it looks, I have a much appreciation for the folks that make it look easy out on the field.

Thanks David! Glad you found it helpful. As with everything fpv, learning requires you to be 1. Practicing right 2. Careful review of what you're doing right and wrong 3. Lots of practice... As long as you keep those in mind I'm sure you'll be able to do it in no time! Good luck!

This channel should be getting much more attention. Quality content that is helpful and informative. I think it would be helpful to go over FPV racing setups, like rates, camera angle, FOV, not really flying, but the setup for successful flying. For example, I would say that lower rates, a moderate camera angle, and large FOV is necessary because it allows the pilot to "see" more. The moderate cam angle could be talked about because it allows for the pilot to see many different cam angles paired with the large FOV (45 degree can, 160 FOV for example). Maybe do something like this in velocidrone or even IRL.

Thanks lrfpv! Appreciate the kind words. It's slow to get visibility but hopefully with more quality content it'll slowly grow! =) as for your suggestions they're all great ideas. I do plan to do a setup guide on how to get a build setup for racing, tuning guides etc. Those are all in the cards so stay tuned! =)

I got the elliptical orbits down! Seriously, this is good timing. It's something I've been working on. Every once in a while I luck into a nice smooth round orbit.

One thing I don't understand is that the sticks seem to be pointed the opposite way from where you are headed. For example at 3:25, the quad is moving to the left but the yaw and roll are both pointed to the right. How is the quad being propelled to the left if it is rolling to the right and yawing to the right?

@@DroneRacingAcademy I'd love to see it! I wrote out my start to race theory not too long ago for a handbook I'm putting together. I explained how I analyze each gate and how it could be approached and how stringing your options together forms your racing line. I'd love to see how you tackle the subject to see the other ways people approach race theory.

On the 2019 IO World cup track did you mean the skygate -> the dive? As for the 2019 champs, that's a ladder before the dive. I'll have a video on that shortly :)
