Never touched a plantain in my life. I have one that is green and one that is starting to yellow. I can make twice fried with both? About to enjoy a plantain late night snack with rice and peas and shrimp. Ok, is going to be a yummy late supper.

So if the green plantains are black, I am assuming it's from shipping or going from cold to humidity possibly..... are they still edible 🤔
