We found our old furby baby today, probably hasn't been messed with in/around 20 years. Unboxed, still has the tag on it... Put brand new batteries in and nothing... Soft/hard reset tried, nothing. Walked around with it in my hands and it started working for a few minutes, got excited, then it stopped working. Decided to try one more time, and pressed the reset button again. I held it down for a while and next thing I knew, it came roaring to life, and works like a champ. Not saying that is the magic trick; however, it's worth it to try and hold down the button for a several seconds instead of just pressing it. I didn't press the tongue down when I did that, just the reset button. Might be useful info to someone, and thought I'd share. Thanks for the video. Naked Furby is creepy looking! 😂

Fun fact: the original furby uses a chip on board processor that is from 1976!

You don't need to cut the zip tie to remove the fur, just using a flat head screw driver in between the the tie and the Furby and it will pop off pretty easily

hi hi! thank you so much for posting this video but I would like to add that sometimes the time for how long it takes for you to get it to work may vary depending on a few factors such as age and quality of the furbies. After 4 hours of spinning the gears the furby began to work, although i did have the batteries in and i accidentally continued 30 mins after bc the batteries i was using already began to fry so i heard the furby making noises from the speaker but i didnt realize that i had already been successful :< pro tip: if you have the batteries in and the furby does start making noise with the speaker than it most likely works all you have to do is replace the batteries and you should be good to go and not waste another 30 mins while watching austin powers like me LMAOOO (austin powers was entertaining though so i had that for me XD)

Don't skin furbys. Put a screwdriver up into its beak and spin the motor.
