Luckily, you can usually do that thanks to marriage-based greencards. However, getting married alone is not enough, and that's why it's important to consult with a qualified immigration attorney.
You'll go through a series of steps that require documents such as the marriage certificate, any divorce certificate from previous marriages, your birth certificate, and a USCIS-qualified physician must conduct a physical examination. You must bring these documents along with your American spouse to an interview with an immigration official, who will certify that you have a real relationship.
