For those that don't know about that purple durag, it's called RED by Kiss: silky satin. They have your standard black one, the purple in this video, and a brown one. You should be able to find them in your local beauty store. They're great! Only negatives are the strings are short and the stitching seems to tear kinda easily, but the material is A1. If you liked the silky Dream durags, you'll love these too

So this is my 3rd week of waves in 15 years. I got good connections around my head so far. Only problems are forks and crown work. It's hard for me to find my sweet spot for my crown. Also, I got forks at the bottom of my sides and on my right temple. I'm close to mastering my brush angle. Got about 5 more weeks of growing out my hair then 1st cut. I brush for 2 hours after I get off work at 8 am. I brush on my breaks. I brush after I wake up. I put the work in...just gotta master it

Think about the arrows on a game controller for your crown, once you find it brush in the direction of the arrows if that makes since, it takes time but eventually it will lay down then wave up then you can swirl if you want. I just recently started to see progress on my crown

@@johnjacob3276 I plan on progressing to the swirl when I master the 360's. Then I want to go 720. I wanted to start with the 720 but I figured it'll be better for me to advance up and relearn the process. I had waves like 15 years ago...360's, but after I got my buzz cut after joining the army in 2012, I said I'm not doing it again. Next thing I know, I had 360 juice Jeezy and Sir Cruze in my feed and I missed my waves

360Jeezy jeezy I got a serious issue. My hair thinning on the top center of my head. I have a barber not a good 1 who cuts around it real low si its not as noticeable.
