I was in the town of Canmore, Canada this past week and headed out to a location called the Three Sisters which is a fairly iconic location in the Canadian Rockies. My intention was to create a video for you giving you a bit of a photography tutorial on how to get glowing mountain photos. Now, well my example from the Three Sisters in Canmore probably isn't the best, I do take you through the process and show you some other sample images from the Canadian Rockies in which I get that beautiful glowing light on the peaks of the mountains.
This tutorial for getting those glowing mountain photos is valid for basically any landscape photography, so feel free to experiment with it a bit. This is not a photoshopping trick, it's about getting it right in the camera. Good photography always is.

Great video. I will be travelling to the highlands and I have a 18-55 lens. Ideally at what aperture should I take my photos of the mountains to get really sharp images? Thanks

+asfdgdg f/11 is usually the sweet spot for landscapes. f/9 to f/11. Getting the camera good and stable is obviously really important as well.
