I do an infinity simple pre pitch warms your thumb up to the distance of the strike zone in all directions, secondly I slow my movement down and pause my PCI slightly on the side of the pitchers arm at release.. then read and react.. you will smack perfect perfects far more often

Get precision rings from kontrol freaks especially if your on all star. You physically cannot slam with those rings on the controller.

If you have trouble pulling the ball you can set your stride to a higher kick and time the pitch with that. Tough at first but you get used to it

Made WS first ranked season, about to make it again this season (876 rating). Never been able to read the spin on the ball lol. Can’t even see the seams like you are able to in real life. Just read out of the hand the horizontal or vertical bounce of the off speed pitches is what I’ve experienced.

Why do you think hitting is so much harder this year than it was in 21? I’ve always played with the PCI on all-star, and I was never really a home run hitting team in 21, but I’ve played 63 games in franchise mode this year, and I’ve hit a very paltry 16 HR’s. HR hitting is now way worse for me than it was even in 21.If you’re not really sure, I understand that too. I heard that SDS did change the hitting mechanics, but I’m really having a hard time thinking they benefited people the way SDS claimed they would. Hitting is really no fun at all anymore. My run scoring is way down too. And it’s not even that my scoring and number of bombs is low, but now it’s just terrible. Couldn’t really get much worse at this point.
