Just got an interview for a DPT program! I applied with a 3.15 GPA. To everyone applying don’t give up and push forward! I want to thank you for providing educational videos about the application process for DPT school. Your videos helped me out a lot!

@@rypglof Hi Ryan, I had a strong essay that really went in depth about my passion for PT. I also had a variety observation hours and I talked about my communication skills that I built over the years. I worked since a young age so I was able to talk about my growth. I majored in Biology and took a lot of upper level courses along side other kinesiology classes which I think helped. Overall, I believe they were able to see my grit and determination in my essay. The school I got accepted into did not require the GRE.

My little brother is about to start his college journey in a few weeks and he’s not certain on a major yet he was going to stick to Kinesiology but he chose to attend UCLA and they don’t offer any of that. He was thinking about physiological science at first but is now debating with psychology and sociology also. Which major do you think he should go with ? His plan is to go to DPT school

idk much but i’d assume the best option would be to find a major that offers most of the pre reqs that are paid for with whatever scholarship , (i live in georgia so HOPE covers my tuition but when i take stat it’s not under my major so i have to pay out of pocket) but probably something science based but i don’t think it really matters too much as long as u take the pre reqs needed
