The STR is only applicable when degree is washington accord accredited, otherwise green listed iccupations have to apply for SMC residency, thats a catch

The only 3 ways for PR is - 1- Masters+ 1year of work in NZ then apply for skill migrant resident visa, after 2 years PR,(Total 3 years after Masters),,,or 2- 2 years on work visa in NZ then 2 years of residence visa , then PR (total 4 years for PR for foreigners) or 3- direct residence visa if JOb is in Tier 1 category, after 2 years PR (2 years for PR ).

If you go skill shortage route you’d need 180 points for eoi to be picked in present day . All depends on the points you claim , job offer , education , wage , age etc so it’s not a easy chances answer . Hey brother, found your videos really informative. I would like to know how should i approach if i want to move to new Zealand As of now I have done my MBA from Delhi University and working since may 2022 in Infosys as an associate consultant. I can't find my role in green list. And all other jobs require some experience in the same field. Any suggestions?

First thing first would be , check if Infosys has any thing going in Asia pacific , that can get you here . I don’t think you should go for an MBA again , may be apply for PWC etc in NZ . Since you already hold a post graduate degree going for a PGDM would not be ideal either . If it’s not in greenlist you can still get a work visa through skill shortage , I don’t know id need to know more a bit about your profile to go deeper . But for your profile it’s not the easiest , you might have to start all over again in nz .

In fields where there is shortage this is working for some people but very few .to be honest it’s quite hard these days , economy is quite slow here right now .

Greenlist will eventually replace skilled migrant category , so not too sure what your pathway to residency would be , people in transition got PR with 165 k one off that was launched when borders were closed. Currently they have set EOI points to 180 for smc , so I am no too sure , I’ll look this up in detail n reply back here .

Newzealand provides Diploma or vocational courses for class 10th pass student ?, if yes so we can take permanent residency after completion of courses ? The jobs offered on the basis of diploma pass out is bad ?

Not too sure , you probably can’t get a admission in a grad course without 12 years of pre grad study , there might be some pathway programs to a grad program after year 10. Diploma course are great for jobs all depends on your study area etc , PR system is based on study plus job offer in the related fields so not a simple answer in that regard .

24k dollor for masters is dirt cheap ,, sirf 12 lakh rs mein life set ho jayegi... India mein 6-7lakh salary lagegi... better hai NZ jao aur 30 lakh ki starting salary lo..

Exactly how I weighed this 10 years ago , vaise university of Auckland was around 48 k for 1 year but I’d go for the cheapest option if going in now . It was and surely is Great value for what you get in return given you can nail the job part down . But now after 10 years here , jumping through all the hoops with the citizenship and an above average wage sometimes I do think what If I took more risk and went to USA ? Definitely would have made much more in terms of money .

@@ragamuffinshiv nopes, best strategy would have been to get canadian passport and then go to US, no hassle of H1B and 15 years wait for green card for Indian passport holders... I'll give you a salary comparison all around the world for 10 year experience civil engineering. US- 1.25cr Canada-65 lakh NZ- 75 lakh Aus-75 lakh UK-43 lakh Dubai -60lakh India -22lakh So best thing a student can do is 1-US (via Canada passport) 2-Australia 3-Canada 4-NZ 5-Dubai (if nothing else is possible) 6-New Delhi /Bangalore No other countries worth it...

Usually in core engineering non IT , codes and practises are not that easily transferable between countries - project management and construction programmers find it ok . So as civil engineering grad transferring into USA wouldn’t be easy but after this much experience people start their own consulting/ design firms in the country they are in which pays multiples of any salary you’ll make anyway . You made a great point for the viewers though , good luck with your career , you have got the idea right 👍🏼

Canada UBC MEng 1 year cost 13 lakh, Earning through part time 10 lakh, expenses in 1 year 12 lakh... Job starting salary 30 lakh.. so In two years (1 year studies +1 year job) a student would have 30+10-(13+12+12) = +3 lakh... 2 years masters in India. - 4 lakh fee, 4 lakh expenses = -8 lakh , So If a student does maths then masters abroad is dirt cheap...

@@ragamuffinshiv after 10 years of experience in Indian projects, I moved to UK on Job, I now have offers from Canada, NZ, and Dubai, My colleague from India just went to US on job offer 1.25cr, got PEng done in 6 months.. Codes and practises are all transferable now... its real-time and actual salary figures I have quoted.. world has changed my friend ... And I am not even talking about super intelligent people... I am talking about below average students... US (via canadian passport route) is the best option one can go for, best salaries , cheap houses...no visa, no H1B

Note that Immigration New Zealand will also want to ensure you are paid at "market rate" ie you are offered what a New Zealander would be offered for the same position, based on the experience and the level of responsibility required. Positions paid below median wage may still qualify for the grant of a 12 months visa renewable, with rights for the partner and dependent children to seek visitor visas only (no work or study rights).
