Can't believe people are complaining about video length hahaha, dude is giving a ton of super detailed advice for free and they come up with demands lol... Your videos are awesome Nelson, keep em coming at whichever length you can. Also i feel like you make some of the best content for people that are actually learning. As many videos from other creators are "destroy everyone with the caro kann in 8 moves!!" and then the video is against someone blundering the queen in move 6 or playing a totally normal opening until move 8 and then they play like a 2500 elo player crushing everyone (so caro kann or whichever opening they are showing doesn't really matter, they could go for bongcloud and still win easily)

I absolutely love the setups like in game 2. I think I commented it once in another video, but you can get a very similar setup, same pawn structure, same castling long, same pawn attack on the king side, out of the Jobava London. Anarchy chess was calling that the "Anakin Skywalker Attack", named as such because it's an aggressive attack against KID players. Main line for Anakin Skywalker was something like 1.d4 Nf6 2.Bf4 g6 3.Nc3 d6 4.Qd2 Bg7 5.Bh6 O-O 6.Bxg7 Kxg7 7.f3 When I play it sometimes I'll castle long before playing f3, and yes, it absolutely destroys KID players as it completely pulls them out of their normal game plan, at least between the 1400 and 1600 level where I play at. Was very happy to see an actual good opening come out of Anarchy Chess even with the silly name.

Loved this video so much. It is great to know opening theory, but what do you do when your opponent gets out of theory? Well if you are under 1500 and maybe even higher, getting out of theory is probably not due to having analyzed the best variation at the cutting edge of opening theory. Most likely they have made a move that is useless at best or dubious at worst. So learning how to take advantage of opening mistakes or useless moves would make a great book or lesson. In this video you mentioned a principle I've never heard of. When they make a useless move like h6 you like to attack the center. I would love to see a video of just opening principles to apply when an opponent gets out of theory in the opening.

Big respect to everyone at that rating, being able to still like or have any interest in chess after playing against wayward queen attack 9000 times is really something. Seriously I believe that most people are stuck on lower elo not because they are bad but because chess at that level is boring as hell

@fintan9218

This series really shows how long it can take to climb ratings, as this is how long i takes when you win every single game. For actual low elo players having a bad losing streak can really set you back, or worse playing while intoxicated where youll keep playing games despite losing 😫. As its much easier to lose elo than gain it, since you face other people with win streaks if you manage to get a bunch of wins in a row to get your elo points back. Which almost always leads to facing suspiciously good players for the elo rating.

18:13 after Bb7 wouldnt QH8 win the enemy Queen? so QH8+ then Nf8 then Bb5+ and the enemy have only 2 options to defend, with bishop, or with the queen, because knight cant move from f8; and defending with bishop loses bishop AND the queen, so from black perspective its better only lose a queen

If anything, he's showing how good the system actually is considering that none of the opponents could defeat him in 120 games because he is much higher rated. So the famous argument "I should be much higher rated but I just get unlucky/I get cheaters every game" just doesn't work. Sure, you can face someone who's stronger than their rating, but also someone who's weaker, and over hundreds of games it balances itself out
