Excellent video! As a young child, I had stubborn warts on my hands at the nail bed (I was a terrible nail biter as a kid), & I also had one on the inside of my leg next to my knee. All of these took cryotherapy to remove. Then as a high school freshman, I developed a plantar wart on the pad of my foot that had to be cut out & cauterized due to its depth. It had been so painful prior to its removal since growing inward, & what a relief after, although I had to wear one of those medical boot shoes until it healed from the surgery. Whew! 😅 Fortunately, no warts since at the age of 52. They are definitely a nuisance when dealing with them, & it can be hard on children in particular with their self-esteem, I’m convinced. 💔

I had dozens of tiny warts all over the tops of both of my feet. With that number of warts, trying to treat them individually would be impossible. I heard about using Betadine iodine so after my bath, I would use a cotton ball to cover my feet with iodine. I put socks on, and no one could see the orange color of my feet. I don’t know how long it was. Maybe a couple of weeks but it wasn’t very long before the warts were gone. Easy and painless method. The iodine is a bright orange, but don’t worry about it. It’s not a permanent dye and has come out easily from everything I ever got in contact with it.

Washing my hands with warm water, using the emery board and putting the duct tape like a bandaid over the wart overnight worked great! I also used Bragg organic raw-unfiltered apple cider vinegar with the "Mother" after using the emery board. I was skeptical at first but was amazed that it worked.

I got a serious wart on the side bottom of my foot from standing on the Dr Scholl’s machine in Walmart. Dear Lord. It was there for six months and I could not walk during that time. I was limping everywhere and developed uneven hips and so much back pain. I had to see the podiatrist 7 times for freezing. It just would not go away!! Definitely one of the most painful things. It was about the size of a quarter and had deep roots. I will never even go near that machine again!

I got at least 13 plantar warts on my foot for almost one year. I tried everything from freezing at home, cryotherapy , apple cider vinegar, tape, salyc acid, garlic paste, oil with soda bicarbonate and few of them would disappear and then show up again on different spot on my foot so my cousin who is a soccer player told me he tried everything also but the only thing that helped was houseleek . I bought 10 of those plants bcse they are small . Here in the USA in home depot , there are a few different kinds ( buy the one with the juicy leaves and then cut through the middle and put the juicy sides on the foot covering the warts completely ,make sure you put the tape on top of it so they stay in place and release the juice )also change the leaves every morning and every night before bed. it took me two to three weeks to finally be wart free after all this torture. Make sure you buy a lot of plants and change them all the time ! I wish i knew this earlier !

My son had a nasty wart on his finger and we tried everything from the pharmacy also three visits to the Dr for dry ice, nothing worked the treatments made it angry and looking worse so one day I was in the garden and seen this cactus looking tree a type of alovera looking plant I thought going to give it a try and lo and behold it worked the wart cleared out in two days, no trace of it amazing plant, I still don't know what type of plant it is 🤷

When I was a teenager I had tons of small flat warts on the back of my hand- 15-20. I worked at a film printing company as a negative color corrector. The negative cleaner we used was mainly isopropyl alcohol and for whatever reason I started putting the cleaner on the back of my hand and then drying it with the powerful air compressor I used to blow dust off the film. I was just bored. But about a week later I realized every single wart had disappeared! I rarely get warts as an adult but this video reminded me of that experience so I thought I'd pass it on if anyone wanted to try it.

Baking soda and caster oil and make a paste and then you can apply this directly to the skin and this can cause your wart to fall off in just a few days. It works.

Was getting surgery on my feet day after Christmas when i was younger had so many planters i could hardly walk. So we had a month till. Put iodine and tape. Every day the warts turned black and fell out ✨after bout 2 weeks. The doctor was so impressed she now suggest this to patients before surgery to prevent unneeded procedures.

When I was a child, I had a wart on my elbow. My mom coated it in red pepper (!) and put a tight bandage over it. After several days of doing this, the red pepper basically burned it off. Should you keep the wart covered all the time or only when you put the acid or freeze medicine on it at night, then let air get to throughput the day? I just wasn’t sure if keeping a bandage over it causes moisture and may cause it to spread more in that area. I also understand keeping it covered will help it from spreading to other parts of the body but what is the best to do cover it all the time or just at night?

Hey Dr D! I'm having a giant flare of eczema on my face. I have bought out the store of Vanicream products, both for skin and hair. I decided to buy some Vaseline as well. My drugstore had none. At my grocery store, I came to the baby care aisle first and was shocked, shocked! to discover that Vaseline for Babies has fragrance added to it, apparently giving it a "baby powder" scent. In the regular skincare aisle, they had no Vaseline, however, there was a store brand with 100 percent petrolatum, which I bought.

Following your earlier advice, I've been filing and salicylic acid my daughter's wart on her foot. I cover her foot with duct tape too, after applying the salicylic acid 2 weeks and they are almost gone. thank you dr Dray!!

I used sanitary pad and wiped toothpaste peroxide and soda to dry it up works great for skin tags to.between legs and in gentle areas may take few,applications I did twice a day once you cut oxygen off of wart it won't grow.and stops spread.

This may sound weird but it worked for my husband. I had read that applying dandelion sap from the common dandelion weed directly on a wart on the bottom of a foot will remove the wart. So we tried this. We found a weed in the garden (do not use a weed treated with pesticide). We broke the stem and applied the white sap directly on the wart. It was gone within one month. Easy and inexpensive to try on a wart on the bottom of the foot. Have never tried on another type of wart.

Funny you should mention this. When l was a kid l used to break the thistle weed and put the white milky sap on my warts and they always slowly break off until the wart was completely gone.

Googled that dandelion weed is part of the thistle family of plants, ... "dandelion is indeed a member of the chicory tribe (Cichorium) within the thistle family (Asteraceae)". Thanks @mel mil

I had one in my bottom feet starting to feel annoyed by it then all of sudden it just disappeared before I went to see a Doctor. My 8yrs son has one in his thumb I tried natural remedies by putting smashed garlic only at the wart area n covered it with tape for 15min each day for 3days in a row then a week later it’s gone no scar at all!

Fig tree has the medicine for warts, very easy and no pain. If you have access to a fig tree just break one of the leaf stems and put the white juice coming out of it on the wart/warts. They will disappear in one or two applications.

i tried out circus a few years ago, and a couple weeks after starting i noticed a little bump growing on my hand. i had noticed the equipment (silks, hoop, trapeze) were not cleaned at all but didn't think anything of it at all, and assumed the bump on my palm was a corn or callous. months later, another little bump started growing on my other hand, and i became incredibly insecure so i started wearing bandaids over the two bumps as they got bigger. eventually, two years later, i went to a doctor SPECIFICALLY about the bumps, and he immediately looked at my hands and said "oh those are warts. get compound w." i bought it, and it worked... sort of. i'm three days in and the progress has completely stopped. i'm a 15 year old girl, VERY insecure about these, but i don't know what else to do to get rid of it faster.

I remember in junior high, we all contracted plantar warts from the locker room/showers. This was way back in the early 70s. The Dr told us to wash our feet in Phels-Naptha soap and wear white socks. (In the 70s no one wore white socks, especially dorky Junior high girls like us)

I had three warts on my right hand and three warts on my right foot. I had them for about 3 years since they were stubborn. The Dermatologist tried freezing and when that didn’t work, he tried painful lasers which also didn’t work. I gave up and lived with them for another year until I couldn’t bear them. I switched to a different dermatologist and we started with freezing them. The one thing he did different was use a skin scraping tool to shave down the warts before freezing them. We saw some improvement with that method so he let me “steal” the tool so I could use it for my at home treatments in between visits. He wasn’t allowed to give me that tool since it’s physicians only. He basically left the room and said that he had no control of what I would swipe from his office 😉. This tool made the difference since my at home treatments became more effective and in a several months, we got rid of the all the warts! 🤗

My kiddo picked up a wart from school so I would definitely be trying this. That's what the doctor recommended to try first as well. Salicylic acid and a Band-Aid. They said if that doesn't work then they could try to freeze it off for my little guy. Hoping it works 😅

@@alwyn2if you watch the video, wart is a virus so they will never really totally go away. Removing wart is more cosmetic removal, and as long as your immune system is working properly it can control the virus activity prevents earts formation. But if for some reason your immune system weakens (for example HIV patients) then it's more likely the virus activity will go up and earts will show somewhere again.

I have eczema and had warts on my hands 10 years ago. I still have stubborn plantar warts. Formic acid and duct tape (to cover, prevent and protect) got rid of the ones on my hands within weeks. For the plantar warts I've tried formic acid, cryotherapy at home (the doctors don't offer it where I live), salicylic acid pens and now regular salicylic acid with a high percentage of lactic acid. The last thing seems to work the best with filing. No black dots left and praying that my skin recovers completely. 🙏 The prevention tips are also GOLD 👍

As a kid I had this bump on my middle pinky knuckle for a long time, then somehow one day I brought it up or something and we got a wart bandage thing. It broke down the skin of the wart and then underneath was this firm flat white bump. It was so weird. It got all dried out and eventually came off and never had anything like it since.

I had a small warts on my genital area just this past weeks I noticed I’m so freaked out and I ordered some cream Emuaid brand I hope it’ll work. Set an appointment already This January 31st if I had the HPV 😢. Knowing that my father has a wart and my sister but I never had one and now I’m like 😬😬😬 is it inheritance? I wanted to try a not so strong cream because it’s on my perineum area it’s very tricky for me to apply.

Ask your doctor to use nitrous oxide to freeze it off! It’ll blister and be red for a few days, return to normal, then fall off within a few weeks. I had a really stubborn wart on my finger that lasted for 3+ years and freezing it twice finally helped it go away.

Acid never worked for me. Even made them spread. Castor and baking soda was far more effective. If wart is on your foot I used the rather expensive blood root cream but it worked and killed the wart instantly. Banana peels also worked. Also be a smoothie freak for a couple of weeks to raise potassium levels.spinach , banana, kale a little apple juice everyday if you can for 2 weeks. Higher potassium level for whatever reason encourages warts to go away on their own.

a RF device designed especially for the FACE like Tripollar Stop does not dissolve fat, I know I have and still use one for over 10 years, Tripollar Pose designed for the BODY does shrink fat cells but it's not permanent....

I had read that temperatures over 110 degrees F will kill wart viruses. Can applying heat or soaking your hand (if that's where the wart is) in scalding water work?

I went to a dermatologist when I was a kid and had several. As adult I had one. I read to use cotton pad with vinegar and cover at night. Worked great after a few nights it scabbed and fell off. However, my skin around got burned and irritated so use Vaseline around good skin to protect it.

I have a question, if i picked at a wart will a wart appear under the nail? Or does the wart appear in random areas? So basically does the wart appear right where your skin was touched by a wart?

I have a prescription 5% fluorouracil cream that I used to treat actinic keratosis. Do you think it might help get rid of a wart?

I don't think that fluorouracil cream can help with wart since that cream treats cancerous/precancerous cells (cells that grow out of control). Wart is a virus so it's a different issue. For at home, try the acetic acid over-the-counter products she recommended, it will slowly burn through layers of skin as you use it.

mix castor oil and baking soda into a paste. apply every night until wart is gone. about a week or so. you are welcome.

I've been visiting a foot clinic for a few years now due to re occurrence, but its getting pricey and they last few times I've gone, the treatment doesn't even cause a proper blister and its getting frustrating, I might just stop going and let my immune system deal with them

M concern is having acne scars and warts, now my question is: What if I choose fractional laser over Microneedling, does it prevent warts from spreading or atleast not as much as microneedling does? I did not know that its bad to microneedle while having flat warts until I saw this video. I have been going to clinic for microneedling for almost a year now. :((
