Hi Robbie, correct me if I’m wrong but surely it must be better to scarifer first then Aerate after as I’m sure all that thatch and moss is going to make its way into the hole you done by aerating ?? , cheers shane

Hey Robbie, I love this video but quick question, after doing all these steps, does this need to be re done every year after winter and also what steps need to be done consistently like every 5-6 weeks aside from watering and mowing to maintain the lawn after all these steps, what exactly needs to be done going forward after all these steps are done to keep the lawn maintained and in perfect condition consistently year after year besides mowing and weeding?

What length should lawn grass be cut to? I've seen you mention only to cut a third off and I saw the video about cutting the grass to 3mm on the gold course but I don't think I could do that with my mower or lawn. :-) Great videos.

Hey Robbie. Great videos as always bud. Any advice on a seed for a lawn here in N.I. Part of it is shaded by large trees and kids playing on it often. That part is very bare at present. Going to Aerate, scarify and seed in a couple of weeks time. Thanks 👍🏻

You can apply it now, although ideally just before a shower of rain is due. Wait 2 days after / before mowing.

Love all your content really helps me out , can you tell me what model aerator your using ,the only ones i have seen to hire are a lot bigger like 2 man lift .The one you are using looks a little bit lighter so any help would be great thanks Neil

Mine is called a pluggr. I wouldn't try and lift it even with two men. They need to be heavy to get into the ground

I would always go with what it says on the instructions on the label. I would think you will have to dilute it. But it will say on the bottle

Can you hire in those tools from the like of CP Hire etc, can't drive and down in the North West. As for the drag mat could you use it to remove weeds from stones

With regards to a hollow tine aerator, can you get these up stairs for a raised garden. I am considering hiring a aerator but worry about getting this up 4 steps to a raised garden. Do you have any advice for raised gardens?

For most people they are the future, though we aren't there just yet. They don't cut the greatest. So if you want a nice looking lawn then no At the moment you need a wire round the garden, still have to do stimming etc. Depends on your needs.
