Dear Veekee... There is a challenge about the exact time to send the email for appointing for a slot... on their website they quoted 8AM CET... but CET is a time Zone and not local time because Central Europe now is on Central European Summer Time (CEST) and not CET. Please I want to know exactly what Local Time Nigeria corresponds to CET 8am on their site... I want to believe CET (Time Zone) 8AM corresponds to West African Time (WAT) Zone... so I believe that email is supposed to arrive 8AM Nigeria Local time... please what's your viewpoint about this?

@Veekee... right now Europe does not use CET for local time in summer but rather CEST(Summer Time) which is adjusted one hour forward on the last sunday of March yearly in Central Europe... your last response leaves me more confused... could you please just tell me what time in Nigeria the email should be scheduled for? Thanks as I await your reply... dont tell me GMT+2hours anymore, just tell me what local time in Nigeria will correspond to 8am CET zonal standard time... it is so confusing because last year they had it on their website for the embassy at Abuja as 8am Local Time Nigeria.. for some reasons they changed it now for 2024 to 8AM, CET. On the Ghanaian portal of their embassy... it states 8am local time for Ghanaians.

I really don’t know how to explain this to you. They call it CEST because it is one hour behind their ‘normal’ time. So during summer, it does not matter if they use CET or CEST, just know that they follow Czech Republic present time

I tried booking an appointment for visa interview for 7months but couldn't till my school documents expired,I quickly asked for a tution ND accommodation refund 🤣it's almost impossible because there's no more student mode unlike before were you had it ND also self booking,now Nigeria ND some other countries linked to their embassy in Abuja need to struggle for just 10slots in a month.forget it they will tell you to reduce ur PDF format size so ur mail can arrive at 8:00 but still no level.

when exactly did you ask for your refund? Was it sent back to you? Also... without an official rejection since you did not even appear before the consular officer... what proof did you send to them for refund? Kindly reply...

@@JohnOgbuIdoko when I explained the appointment issue to my coordinator she sent me refund form asking me to state my reasons in it,I did and submitted it back to her the next day,i got my refund two weeks later.i don't need proof because I didn't get any appointments but I told her not renew or send me any documents because there's no assurance that I will get appointment date.

You only need your sponsor's 3 month statement, with proof of their credit card linked. In addition You can also present your own card at embassy. Most applications in Czech open from July onwards.

A friend of mine suffered this too. I used his rejection letter to prepare for my interview. You need to be adequately prepared and show enough motivation to study in CZech. Keep pushing

My international relations assistant advised me to apply for Long time residence permits instead of long time visa reason being that i will get the residence permits card when i arrive. If you tell them what you want to use it for, the hospital knows what tests to perform. But test like hiv, tuberculosis and syphilis results must be displayed on the test results

Veeke, you have been a guide in this my journey to Czech Republic. My school promised to send me acceptance letter and proof of accommodations. @Maureen... thanks for your replies. My dear I also got two admissions in Hungary, MBA(University of Miskolc) and MSc International Economy & Business (Budapest Business University)... I did not succeed with the visa appointment with Czech Republic so I have paid tuition in Hungary and will now switch focus there. Because GMT + 1 is same time Nigeria runs on.... so if I get you right... 8am CET on the embassy site means send the email (GMT +1) which is 8am Nigeria Local Time and Currently 9am Central European Summer Time right?
