I've been through this with a denied Study Permit. You must file Study Permit externally with the embassy in your home country to be accepted. I got majorly screwed out about 30,000$CAD in legal services that ended in a denial and ended up getting removed from Canada. My mistake got me a ban for 10 years, so I will provide the advice that you need to do it externally. Don't visit with the intent to study. Apply for your Study Permit from outside of Canada. Apply as an international student to college, get the acceptance letter, and then file your permit to the IRCC with the embassy outside the country.

Skilled Worker is good for your qualifications with the govt. in your home country. You count as Skilled Worker class and a NEXUS Pass with a teaching job. Here is how you can immigrate to Canada: [ sorry about the salt, but this is someone that's actually been through this with a 25,000$CAD retainer balance + an Immigration Lawyer :) ] This list starts at -1, because Canadian Immigration Law is a serious meme. -1. You must BEFORE entering Canada, BEFORE quitting your job and BEFORE you apply for Skilled Worker have $10,000 in a savings account for each year you plan to work in Canada + $2,863 monthly living expense for a principal individual (yourself). I recommend being born fortunate with a rich family, or living as a hermit crab spending zero in recreation. (No, seriously, you need close to $175,000 in a savings account, or rich parents which ever comes along first). If you where born on a pile of gems or birthed in a golden chalice, of course that isn't an issue for you! No worries, money is your oyster right? :) 0. I wouldn't recommend joining the mafia if you weren't born with rich parents, Criminal Inadmissability can delay the process up to 20 years (depending on the province/state/terroritory the crime commited), everything is a federal crime equivalent. Hopefully you're rich, otherwise Canada doesn't really want you. (Seriously, they only got rid of the definition of 'deaf & dumb idiots' in the Citizenship Act in 2006)... Canada is nice but they're run by the French ($$$$$$) Ask the rest of the world how they feel about the French Elite Class. That's what currently runs immigration. Also don't expect to continue to make the bank you're making, unless you're bilingual. As, not knowing french can and will bar you from Salary jobs. Its impossible to learn 'correct french' in Canada unless you're native french national or raised with a relative who has taught you it.
