Hopefully all of our fixes prepare us for the endurance race this year because last year definitely didn't go well with our car lasting only 15 laps until the engine blew up!

Great video Chris! I just wanted to mention as a reminder that while dismantling your steering wheel to change it to a quick release steering wheel, you should unplug the car's battery just to prevent the airbag from engaging while you're getting rid of the stock steering wheel, which could cause injury. Edit: I also think yellow headlight tints would look sick on the car btw

For people that don't want to change to studs, look for a wheel hanger alignment pin, usually about $10 each, take out two of your wheel bolts, thread the pins in a few threads and the pull the rest of the bolts. Keeps the wheel from falling off and makes putting the wheel back on a breeze.

Hope you're going to address the achilles heel of the M54B30... The oil pump nut likes to back off from harmonics at 5-7k rpm. It's not a matter of it, just a matter of when. The sprocket that drives the oil pump will come off and oil pressure will go to 0 resulting in catastrophic engine failure. You can try welding the nut or using a drilled nut to run a safety wire to prevent backing off but it will only delay the failure until the shaft completely shears. The permanent solution is to run an upgraded shaft and sprocket kit which uses a hardened shaft and 3 bolt design to lock the sprocket on to the shaft more securely. Source: former m54b30 owner.
