At the end of each year I like to go through and hit reset on my life. I do a bunch of new year reset activities to create a clean slate for the next year and bring on those fresh, magical new year vibes - and I like to film me doing them.

The key sequence was so reassuring. It's good to know that even people who seem really put together and organised can make mistakes too - but I suppose the lesson here is to see that mistake as a prompt to make positive changes, rather than beating yourself up for making it in the first place. I'll try to remember this!

Yes this is so helpful! I just switched jobs and am moving right before the new year and really needed the motivation to do some of the preparation. I always need a push to do a life admin day to address dental a doctors appointments.

Great video! FYI, Round up is currently under investigation for its active ingredient (glyphosate) being linked to Lymphoma. There's a current class action against it in Australia and many city councils have now stopped using it. The makers of round up of course deny and it's still stocked at Bunnings etc. But the Leukaemia foundation have changed their position statement to request a more thorough investigation. Unfortunately nothing works quite like it, but .... you know... cancer. Of course it's not a proven causation yet, but we've stopped using in our household :/

Same here! Use Straight white vinegar from a spray bottle is one of the best weed killers I use that doesn’t effect you. I do a spray, than 3 days later another one..my driveway cracks and rocks border are clear ladies! Lol 😁👍🏻

I know what I am trying to start doing is spending a bit a time at the beginning of the month writing down every little thing I could think of that needs to be done and then spending the rest of the month working on it. Sometimes it’s easier said than done because some tasks require waiting on and can’t realistically be done in that month because of everything that I need to do before even starting that one thing but some are just little things that I need to do and having that list as a reminder helps. And even if something is a bigger project instead of a simple task I have the reminder that it is something I need to work on even if I don’t finish it.

Just moved to another country and I feel super overwhelmed with all the stuff that’s still „life admin day“ accomplish. I need a whole ‚life admin life’ for the amount of work. From opening a bank account and getting insurance, finding new doctors, finding a new hair dresser to getting my mail in order .. hope to find some inspiration in your video.

I'm going to add my suggestion of using a phone scanner app to the others comments suggesting this. I use office lens and it is really fast. You can scan a bunch of pages and create one document with it (up to 8) and then set where you want to save it (camera roll, cloud service, OneNote). It's great for documents and really fast but I understand from photography folks the scans are not good for photos that you really want to scan in detail. I wish you an excellent 2020 year!

The Dropbox app has a great scanner feature that works really well - I haven't needed a physical scanner in a long time. And you can save the files straight to Dropbox too!

Christmas was yesterday and in 24 hours it faded away just like the wind,only memories you will keep either in mind or in heart some good,some bad but hey that's life. In exactly 5 days New Years will be upon us and that means for many is an opportunity to start over with a list of New Years resolutions,many are wanting to quit bad habits like smoking,drinking and some would like to lose weight,work harder,many would want to alter their appearance,many would like to be better and loving individuals and many would like to be better loving,serving and giving christians but in the end it's not about writing a New Years resolution list because a list will not make us change or be better at anything. What will make us change and to try to be better person is putting our good intentions and words into full blown action. A new years resolution list with no action is as good as bathroom tissue. Lisa Bailey I do mine every 3 months..it’s helped a lot! It gives my next 3 months focus and I get more done towards my goals, my house care, self care etc...just like businesses that have quarterly meetings..it’s my life, my goals business! 😎👍🏻

I do them probably once every two months? But you can kinda of just sense when you need a life admin day haha, so if you're not a planner, just do them when you feel like there are too many little things building up!

Awesome video! So inspiring! In terms of scanning (it drives me crazy too) I found an app called Scanner Pro (? Or similar) it basically enables your phone to convert docs to PDF. So fast! I immediately scan in all of my tax receipts and paperwork as soon as i get them now and upload them to my cloud.
