Method 1: Creating User Accounts with Specific Roles
Login to Your WordPress Dashboard: Go to your website's login page (typically www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin) and log in with your administrator credentials.
Navigate to the User Section: In the WordPress dashboard, go to "Users" in the left-hand menu.
Add a New User: Click on the "Add New" button to create a new user account.
Fill in User Details: Provide the required information for the new user, including their username, email address, and a strong password. Make sure to choose a strong password and encourage the user to change it after their first login.
Choose a Role: Assign an appropriate user role for the person you're giving access to. WordPress offers different user roles with varying levels of access. Common roles include:
Administrator: Full control over the website.
Editor: Can edit and publish posts and pages.
Author: Can write and publish their own posts.
Contributor: Can write posts but can't publish them.
Subscriber: Can only manage their profile.
Send Login Details: After filling out the required information and assigning a role, click the "Add New User" button. WordPress will generate an email containing login details and send it to the user's email address. You can also manually send them the username and password.
