Rabbit's actually should not ever be held on their backs. It can cause them to go into something called a "trance" which is extremely dangerous and can cause their heart to slow down. When I check my rabbits bum, I do so by sitting them on a counter, and slightly tipping them back to check their "area" If your rabbit is squirmy, have someone help you by having one person hold the bunny while the other person checks. Eva Cai Hii! I do not do this often but it really helps for me. Try sliding your both hands under your rabbits belly gently and lift them up, hold firm then carry it like a baby. Advisable to hold good grip and make sure he is comfortable and in a quick past just use another hand to lift his bum and carry it like a baby in your arm. Hopefully this helps for you :)

+Ellie Turnbull If they are not spayed and neutered that can DEFINITELY be why they fought. Rabbits have to be fixed before bonding for that reason. Because they have lots of hormones that cause them to fight

You are definitely doing right by your rabbits, however maybe convince her to let them stay inside or buy them a better cage perhaps their own shed and get a vet to fix them up but by the way she said your a crappy person no offense but she seems like an extremely unpleasant person who will never go for this idea :( ?

Yes you are doing the right thing. Make sure you tell the people who gets your bunnies that they have earmites. I took my bunny ,who had earmites when I got her, to the vet and got medicine for her ears. It only cost $12.

Abbey Hansen dont let him in your room for awhile, deep clean it and have your rabbit use the litter boxes in your room elsewhere. chances are its a form of territory marking and wont stop until you show your bun that it isnt theirs

Taylor&maddi Show Hi! Has it been spayed or neutered? It affects aggression but if you do so, it can improve their temper and may have a healthier body preventing diseases. You can try bonding with them and spending more time, if they like you they will sometimes hop around you. You can get into your rabbit's pen and sit there try your best not to approach him as he is still aware and you may seem like a predator to him for now. If he's curious about you he'll come and learn more about you. Soon he will get use to your presence and feel comfortable with you therefore giving approval and permission to pet without bitting. It's advisable to sit on the floor with him, do anything you want try to avoid loud noises though :) you can listen to music, do you homework or even sketch your bunny out. You can always feed your rabbits treats one of the most effective method. He/she won't come all the sudden probably if it's very hungry or just loves food😜 but throw a few treats or vegetables in front of him on the floor and slowly lead him towards you, if he doesn't come don't force him. Once he gets used to it he will eat of your hand. :) Remember not to feed by finger or your rabbit may accidentally bite it unintentionally. Cup your hands together. Hopefully this helps! Grace Real shelters often are cheaper options to spay/neuter your animal. make sure you explain to your mom that the sooner you get it done the safer and healthier your rabbit will be. It significantly extends the rabbits expected life span (from 4 years to 10) and brings down potential vet costs/surgeries in the future

I would recommend checking out my recent video on aggression in rabbits. I also agree on looking for cheaper options for fixing. If you can't find any however, honestly as your rabbit, you should save your money to spay her. I had to do this with Lulu when I was 12 years old. I did not have a job at the time so I saved all my allowance and birthday and christmas money until I could afford to spay her.

Rabbits easily get respiratory infections which runny eye's is a sign of. I would take them to the vet and have them checked out. A simple round of antibiotics could solve the issue and keep them from getting worse.

I normally do small bits of health checks as I go throughout the week. Like petting them and trying to keep an eye out for anything unusual. But I would say about monthly is good if you are weighing your bunny.
