I'm so glad you do this with your son! I'm a grandma now but have raised all my children being used to traveling ... especially camping. Vacations, visiting family and I think we went to almost every state because I showed dogs on weekends. CRAZY now but back then I was so used to it! Now, it seems like young parents don't want to ever bring their kids anywhere. I know, because of the sickness that hit the world in 2019, there was a good reason to leave babies and small kiddos at home but even before the sickness (can't say the name 😂) nobody brought their kids outside of their home. I just think it's so good to introduce all of the new world to our babies. It's good for socialization too. You guys are an awesome little family!

We find that keeping a small lunch box (instead of big cooler) in the car is helpful. Yes - we have the camper with frig and food we can access at rest stops. But a few cold drinks and snacks are nice to have when we can’t stop.

Great tips! One thing I did in road trips which saved me a few times is putting an absorbent pad under/behind baby. The kind you’d use for puppy training or in a hospital setting. That way if there is a diaper blow out or potty training accident it will keep the carseat dry and clean
