Thank you for explaining the yellowing leaves and trunk building! I’ve planted a dozen moringas and was wondering what I was doing wrong 😆🙂

I have seeds from A healthy leaf . Going for my 1st time growing Moringa 🎉. Thank you for the info. I'm in South East TN just a few miles from the Smokey Mountains & is considered a subtropical region . The hard part is finding a spot that isn't shaded . Again thanks for the info .

Do you have any Maringa bushes instead of using the flamboyant bush as an example?

How do you prepare for in ground planting? Same 3x3 amended hole you use for fruit trees? At what size do you plant in ground?

My moringa’s stem is a weakling from seeds…how long does it takes to develop a strong stem? I have to put a bbq stick to support the seedling

I'm in a similar environment that you are just a bit dryer. Zone 9B Mojave Desert. Very Low monsoonal flow, very high alkaline soil. What time of year would you recommend to plant moringa from seed straight into the ground?

So is the "how to" part comprised entirely of the advice to use fresh seeds?

I have one I started from seed. It's about a foot and a half tall. For some reason it lost all its leaves, but the stem seems to be alive still. Any ideas on what may have caused that?

Do you follow the same watering schedule for the Moringa in the pot (every other day for 5 minutes at 2pm)? Thank you and you have a fantastic channel.

They love that AZ heat! Here in coastal CA they take a little longer to grow.

Why didn't you prune it?

Hi, how on earth do you get your seeds to sprout in 5 days? I planted trees over a month ago and still no luck
@thomasgolaszewski6502 Жыл бұрын
I would think you killed the seed with love. Too much water. Try seeds from a wet paper towel. In 10 days you will have roots. Then move to its first growing area . Good luck,

Mine took 2-3 weeks. I soaked them first.

How did you grow the Moringa tree or bush from seed in 5 days? Did you just place the seeds on the soil as pictured? Did you germinate them in wet paper towel before? How much watering did you do? Direct sun, indirect sun, or indoors? Thanks for explaining.

I soaked mine all day n planted an inch deep in a tall seedling temporary pot. Had growth in 3 days

Germination tips?
@kathyyoung1774 Жыл бұрын
Soak for at least 2 hours in warm water. Plant an inch deep in sandy soil. I kept them warm while waiting to sprout by pointing a grow light on them (a desk lamp with a Grow light bulb from Home Depot) or on a heat mat ( an old heating pad with a towel and on lowest temp setting). Best wishes.

Title says Moringa

what happens if you wish to bonsai the moringa, cutting its taproot when the plant is, say, less than a foot tall? But I see I wasted my time asking, because you don't seem to answer questions. Is it too much to ask?

So basically what your saying is it’s useless to have a moringa tree UNLESS a you cut it to make it into a Busch?🤔
