you have some amazing soil/compost... for the garlic spray is it better to boil them in water and leave overnight or directly crush and add to water

I grow chillies in uk outside and do ok but maybe don't get so many I'm in the midlands

The seeds are not hot at all but the placenta,or where the seed joins the fruit is where the heat is.Hot hot .Birds don't feel the heat at all so eat the seeds and carry them far away. Very clever plant! : )

A very common misconception! When a chilli fruit is opened the capsaicin oil is released, soaking the seeds , this is where the heat comes from, not the seed, which is slightly bitter tasting

Hello If you want to keep your chili plant until next year, you will need to keep it warm, either by bringing it inside in a pot or keeping it in a heated greenhouse. hope this helps

Great video! I have a few questions if you don't mind answering! Would I be able to sow the seeds now (late August)? Or will I need to wait until February in the new year? My plan was to sow the ones I have now in small pots, sit them on a window sill inside my kitchen and on a brewing heat mat (which will be on 24/7). I was also going to get a small LED light online to give it some extra light if you think this would help, or perhaps the heatpad and natural light will be sufficient?

Hi on the video about chillies you harvested them in December what will I need to do to keep the chillie plant alive so it flowers agen next year

Thanks for the video. You said that you would be taking your chili bush out in December, but could you leave it overwinter in the polytunnel for growing next year or is this sub-optimal?

The plant over the winter goes dormant. It stops all growth and reduces its need for both light and food. Once conditions improve in the spring, the plant will begin to sprout new growth. Give it plenty of protection overwinter with fleece or simply take it into the house.
