1. Great Start with your video's, quality is not bad. 2. Ancistrus sp. 183 pleco are poop machines, I use to breed L144, Calicos and recently picked up a few L181 (peppermint) very similar to L183 but white seem does fall away. I feed 1/4 of a zucchini a day, I will vacuum the bare bottom every 2nd day. taking out about +-10% / 20L each time. 3. also drift wood is helpful, as they graze on them, if you feed just greens, you will see the poop light green, with drift wood, they turn completely brown / black.

Wow thank you very much for the feedback and advice. What are your water parameters and I reckon you have a 50 gal? I will also add driftwood today. Do you also boil zucchini or just add raw?

I have an 4ft (63 Gallon / 240L)dedicated tank for 6 of them, my water is 7.2 (they really don't need RO/DI and keeping them at 26c but we moving into autumn so I will soon bump that temp up and have an 2nd heater in. With regards to zucchini, go raw, organic, but if unsure, peal off the skin and use a fork and stake it to keep it at the bottom, do not blanch them cos they do decompose quick, you will notice unfinished one will become mushy, which you must remove next day anyway. if you don't your tank will go slimy and yellow and clog everything. every other day I will throw in algae wafers but they are just not interested and will 99% go for the fresh zucchini @lofshrimp

Wow. Are you a breeder? That’s insane. I may need to move them soon to a bigger aquarium when they are slightly bigger.
@devilvi3 ай бұрын
I am not a breeder by profession, I breed for the joy, and sell some of the excess to offset some of my fish food, supplies etc.4ft is over kill, my are still juvi, similar size to yours, but they have double in size since I also got them 2 month back too. oh and the one that you showed at around the 4:30m mark, I suspect that one is an male, males are generally bigger, but what is a good tell is that the bristle are all over the nose, compared to females, they generally has them around the lip area, with the odd 1-2 bristles on the top, that is the only indicator , as from my previous experience, I saw all stages of fry stage growing out.@@thecallofshrimp

I love the combo corydoras and pleco I see your corydoras like to hide alot And i guese there is no dither fishes in tank right So get some small dither fishes even guppies could work , the cories and pleco will comeout easily And respect for closeup footages of plecos and corydoras Because mine are too shy for camera 😂 And a suggestion Just upload your videos This is hobby is all about patience people will find your channel Just stick to it cause you're quality content creator 👌 ❤from india brother😊 🇮🇳

You can’t say the plecos are prolific for you when they haven’t reached sexual maturity yet.

Based of your name im curious if you have any shrimp? I'm new to the hobby I have neocardina I'm going to try with dwarf crayfish the crays arrive tomorrow will see love the hides. Although the ro water maybe not the best for neocardinas but the blue dwarf crayfish will like your ph levels GL with your channel
@thecallofshrimp5 ай бұрын
Thanks bro and all my neocaridinas live in caridina parameters. Now for the crayfish, I’ve heard that they like to pick on neos. I’m not sure how true that is.

Are you breeding black Cory’s? What temperature are you breeding Cory’s?
@thecallofshrimp5 ай бұрын
Not yet, I got them about 3 weeks ago and they seem a bit young still. But I do breed peppered Cory and sterbais. I keep them at 73 and they breed when I induce flow or drop temp 2-3 degrees.

Which RO filter brand do you use?
@thecallofshrimp5 ай бұрын
Yooooo! I use WaterDrop G2 RO system with post Remineralization filter.
@thecallofshrimp5 ай бұрын
I like it because it has 1:1 drain ratio, it produces up to 400 GPD and to change the filter, it takes less than a minute.

@@NantThananan absolutely! Sometimes eBay has really good deals, especially from their own waterdrop site on eBay.
