Someone should come up with silk lined wig/dome caps to prevent hair from drying under wigs...am I the only one who wants this??

I keep my hair twisted all week and wear a twistout during the weekend 😊. I’ve been doing it for about 10 months , and I’ve retained about 5 inches! ❤️

My lazy natural tip is to keep a shoe-box sized container with: spray bottle of filtered water, oil (whatever works best--in my case it's olive, almond and peppermint essential), wide tooth comb, Denman brush, hair clips, ouch less hair ties, and Bobby pins. This eliminates the need to constantly "scramble" for commonly used objects. If you are short on time or shortage space, you only need to grab one container and quickly style your hair. It also works well if you have children's hair to do. You can carry the container from one room to another and do their hair in whatever room if the house you choose.

AFRICAN WOMEN USE RED PALM OIL ON HAIR AND SCALP FOR 2-5 HOURS THEN WASH OUT 2-3 TIMES TO WASH IT OUT. AFRICAN BLACK SOAP IS GOOD TO USE TO WASH IT OUT. THE MOISTURE YOU GET FROM DOING THIS IS BOMB. COVER HAIR WITH A PLASTIC BAG WHILE OIL IS IN HAIR. YOU WILL LOVE THIS OIL. A GODSEND IT IS.

I'm all for big twists as well! Big twists, twist out, detangle and twist, wash in twist, retwist and do it all over again. :)

Lazy Girl + Low Manipulation: I wear a head wrap all week while my hair is stretched. I usually wear my satin bonnet under it so the wrap isn't rubbing against my hair (and my hand in hair syndrome). I usually Moisturize 3-4 a week and deep condition 1x a week 😁

i agree with you on the low manipulation. I had damaged my hair when i dyed it. had to cut it to ear length. talking about depressed. so I did the cornrow thing. covered it up for 4 weeks. took it down. washed condition you name it. cornrowed it again. i did this for the pass 6 months and my hair has grown back down passed my shoulders to the middle of my back. i happy again. yaayyyy

I'm the laziest. I live in 2 strand twists. I only take them out when I need to look a little more polished. I do them smaller, though. I've learned that my hair likes to be left alone and I happily oblige.

I love it. Leaving my hair alone is the only thing I've known to give me length and retention, that's why I love protective styles. But my problem is I can't keep my hands out of my hair when it's down, I just love it so much

i wash my hair every week and a half to two weeks. for 4-7 days a week my hair is in twists or braids then i take it out for a braid & twist out . very simple , i don’t have time to do intricate styles.

I keep my hair braided and tucked away. It helps my hair stay detangled and moisturized (which in the past was a struggle and a time-spender for me) and it keeps me out of my hair ( washing , styling, etc.). When I want to change the style, I just take out the braids!

I'm such a lazy natural. I have 4c hair but i usually wear twists loosely but with afro hair. I cant wear wigs, to hot need my scalp to feel free hehe

My tip is the protective style of keeping my hair constantly in twists. I wash my hair with the twists still installed and when they need re-doing I just finger detangle each one individually and then twist it back up again. I commenced this in May 2019, and myself and others have noticed that the health and length of my hair has improved.

I’m a wig girl so I don’t normally wear my natural hair out but if I do I put my hair in a twisted top knot bun. Simple
