Lauren, being a woman isn't your selling factor. You always dress modestly, you don't pretend to be someone you aren't, you aren't hiding under pounds of make up. You know your strengths and you use them. You make an effort to network. You focus on what you love even when you're uncomfortable. Great thoughts. Thanks for the motivation. Haven't you thought about outgrowing your type-beat hustle? Do you have any thoughts about your transition from type-beat stuff to your personal production style? Do you think that making type beats is the best start for an upcoming beatmaker?

I’m still gonna continue with type beats, just on my second channel. I think there’s still a big market for them and it’s a good way to be working with all kinda artists. Yeah it’s a great start for beginners

@@lollypopbeatz Okay, I respect that. On the other hand, can't it hamper the development of your artistry? I think it's a double-edged sword. One can be either a unique noname or a sold-out clone. Of course these are extremes. A bit harsh but close to reality. I've always considered type-beat hustle as a crutch to get more attention to your persona

How much do you pay for studio time?

It’s about $70 for 4/5 hours, I go to the studio every couple weeks

Your going to pay between £15 and £25 per hour for a average studio room hire that's equipped with good mic and vocal booth, something like Yamaha HS8 Monitors, a 49 midi keyboard.
