@plank2x495 I tried all hashtags and best for me is three describing the post then finally a very large hashtag. I am not giving you BS I used his methods and the results are for all to see on my IG. Last count is a 14M reach

Thats because IG consumers only want quality. TikTok consumers have lower content standards.

@@colekismet "quality content" has nothing to do with discoverity. Literally start a new insta account with zero followers and there is almost no way to grow unless you tap into your other social or irl. Tiktok you can start fresh and the algorithm will push your content to its target audience with hashtags. Also I see a lot more original content from tiktok that just gets reposted on facebook, YT shorts, twitter and yes Instagram.

As a consumer it’s crazy how the platform has changed a lot to just sharing funny videos with friends. But as a creator it sucks lol if TikTok doesn’t make it in the end. Will be very interesting how the market will deal with it.

@Araksi_N I like IG as it's a community. One video I worked hard on Tiktok was reported despite no sexual content. Yet others are blatant online fans and BF videos. BFeeding video are blatant on the app by attention seeking Women using to get views and likes

The shares thing is BS because my content consistently gets more shares than likes but my reach is still kind of stagnant in contrast to some of best performing posts. The truth is, like all platforms, they're drug dealers. They give you a boosted post every once in a while to dangle the carrot, doesn't matter if you post consistently phenomenal content because you deeply understand your audience. People would post far less otherwise because they wouldn't need to test the algorithm.

I have 9000+ followers (organic) and barely 200 see my posts before IG dumps it into the "not interesting" pile and I get an avg of 25% engagement vs reach which is high, yet not even my followers get to see my stuff

Shares = content that is (mostly) educational or brain rot. This whole concept of pushing shared content drives me crazy

It would be facebook if a high quality post was determined by something other than shares? Absolutely not. The problem is there are creators out there who just want to show off something cool. Photos, music, props, etc. and while those posts do have their fair share of people sharing them. I would have to say that the style of content that gets the most shares is educational or humor based content. What does that leave us with? Feeds full of skits and mindless consumerism, or content that is made up of nothing but "hacks" "tips" and "things you must learn" It's tiring as a business owner or brand to have to keep up with it.

Why every time I want to shoot a STORY it’s defaulting to REEL!!! This is sooooo annoying! Another Instagram hate I have as of late is these messages constantly popping up telling me to turn on Notifications. I have them turned off for a reason. I don’t need to be notified every time someone likes my post or sends me a message. 🤦🏾‍♂️😡

6:55 it gives so much freedom that you don't know what to do with this freedom and what works and what doesn't. I don't know how to search hashtags anymore while it was fun and easy way to find people with the same interest. I have hard time moving from Instagram to TikTok and I often hear from tiktokers 'do you also feel like this OTHER PLATFORM died?'. It feels like Instagram became marketing tool while TikTok still has this personal touch and people like it more. I was up to date with things watching social media grow but I am stuck for some time already. I really don't know what to post and where to post so people with the same passion will join me. Not buyers or clients.

I hear nothing about businesses and reach which is very difficult and different. A creator , entrepreneur- business account are two different worlds it seems. Brands are typically more content censored as well.

Also KZfaq and Instagram and other platforms just allows NOT ORIGINAL CONTENT.. like this video.. the presenter here just do small comments on colin and Samir who did all the work ... and here Flick is obtaining profit from it... i think maybe 90% of the ad revenue should go to Colin and Samir and Only 10% to Flick .. that way people should not be encourage to use other people videos.. and make more Original content!

They say you have to share your emotions and all that krap.. but in reality it is just a matter of what the society wants to watch.. if you show a cat, you get more views, if you show a video of you falling into a Pool and drunk, you will get more views.. if you show a beautiful woman talking about something.. it will get more views than a guy o a not so attractive woman talking about the same thing... even if they know more... a gym trainer teach something and it get few views.. but an actor or a politician shows a video working out and it gets more views.. even if it does it wrong... it just motivate smaller creator only to do dumb things to get attention instead of been more educational or real.

He did but for monetization purposes. Basically they don't know how to pay you for your video views as well as they know how to pay for views to images. I get the bonus and I noticed that I get more money when I have a photo get a lot of attention vs a video.

Why reach is 13 million and at least five of my videos are over a million views and thousands of likes. It has been hard work to get to my first 1000 then after that I slowly got better reach going quickly to 9000 followers and 28 almost 29K now.
