Grow Your Own Pumpkin Patch! Pumpkins are not at all hard to grow. They do require space, but more importantly, you have to time them right, to have the actual Pumpkins ready for fall.
In this video we look at starting your own Pumpkins right from seed, and then setting them up for eventual transfer into your summer garden. Start seeding your Pumpkins in late spring, just as your other seedlings and starters are already done and in the garden.

Hi! I can’t seem to find Part 2. I’ve recently started a garden of my own and am currently growing 3 Jack o lantern pumpkins. I would love to hear your advice in another video!

I've grown pumpkins before. I bought a pack of seeds and planted the seeds directly in the ground. Not all of the seeds sprouted; but, even with ou short growing season, I managed to get 4 or 5 pumpkins to make pumpkin pie and pumpkin nut bread. We even used a pumpkin to make a Jack-o-lantern.

Right on Donna! I remember from early grade school, Pumpkins were always the plant to choice to show us how a seed sprouted and grew!

Hi I love your videos. I have planted pumpkins for the first time and your videos help me do better. My plants are now getting to big to stay in my livingroom. But I can’t find part 2. I need help to know how to give them a good home outside.

For sure... It's coming soon! If they are big now, plant them like you would zucchinis.... They grow nearly identical. :-)

I don't have a bid house for a garden but it's my dream I only have stuff growing in pots I have a baby potato and pumpkin and apple seed the others are germanating in a paper towel I have 2 mango seeds 4 apple seeds and some tomato seeds in paper towels

One of my pumpkins fell and cracked open, it was such a pretty pumpkin so I've just planned the seeds and I've already got sprouts with leaves 2 days later

Hey Laura...depends on where you live and how well started your transplants are. For me, I have to have the Pumpkins in the ground and well started by Sept. 1st to get actual Pumpkins by Halloween.

What is the reason why my punkin female flowers grow to the size of a marble but do not open to be pollinated so they fall off when they dry up the just fall off I get no big punkin help somebody

You can definitely do it....same as Zucchini!

Wow your cat could drop a marigold seed in soil pee on it and just go be a cat and ignore it and it would grow you are in trouble
