@@JimPutnam I am in Austin, TX and my purple pixies dont seem to be handling the full sun very well. Have you noticed this? The ones that are in part shade look much healthier.

Hi, I saw a jazz hands verigated loropetalum and fell in love with it.. i dont think it is a dwarf, but was told verigateds usually grow slower and will be easy to keep as a smaller shrub also it grows horizontal too, I want to keep one around 2 feet high, and 3 feet wide, aprox.. Im new to all of this and desire your opinion.. would it be too hard?

i want some of these so bad but they are VERY expensive. they also have never had them in nurseries around here

Hi Jim, Love your channel. Question. I planted 13 purple pixies through out my yard. Got the idea from this video. Along with those I planted daydreams. My purple pixies are all dying. The nursery was shocked when I started bring them all back dead. thoughts? Normally bushes do well along with hostas in my yard. I am not sure what is wrong. HELP!!!!!

A large stem (half of the plant) broke off our purple Loropedulum. Can this be used to propogate more plants ? If so, what proceedings?

+Jana Boyling I think any Loropetalum that has upright branching will get bigger than two feet. The semi dwarf varieties just grow slower and can be maintained lower. Purple Pixie will actually stay less than two.
