Recorded voice is your natural voice. What you hear with your ears only you can hear and is not your actual voice.
@alicekelly15696 жыл бұрын
That’s because when you hear your own voice it’s been resonating through your bones. It will always sound deeper to you. The voice on a recording is how other people actually hear you.

sooyoung I'm 25 years old but I look 14. My voice has childish, androgynous turns that I want to get rid of. They sound weird and annoying. In theater I always end up getting the children roles (boy and girl) when I'm looking up for the "Lady" ones. Remember that time I wanted to play the motherly teacher but actually got the funny little fat boy one, which is hilarious considering I've always been skinnier than most people. I just wonder how to make your voice remain as deep during the day as it is during morning after you have awoken?
@LedgerLines10 жыл бұрын
That actually would be dangerous if it were possible. Operating your vocal cords at lower than normal ranges for too long will cause you to lose your voice or damage your throat (this happened to John F. Kennedy a lot). When you wake up it's lower because your vocal cords are fully relaxed. And they're relaxed only because you haven't used your voice for 8 full hours. The more you use them the higher you're voice will go during the day.
@evelyng.292310 жыл бұрын
LedgerLines If you watched her video, she clearly says that it's not the tone of your voice she's referring to when she says deep. She gives you tips so you can relax your voice. These tips help you speak in you "true voice" as she says.
@d0nj0310 жыл бұрын
You keep doing it every morning for a long time until you're satisfied with the persistence of the results. Check out Elliott Hulse's videos from 2011 or earlier and compare his voice to the 2013+ sound. It's unbelievable. And he too used an exercise based on vibrating the diaphragm, only he does it by bouncing on his heels. :) I went with the above method of hammering the central lower edge of my ribcage while going "AWWWWWWW" and I've heard very good results in how I sound in conversations during the first half of the day.
@d0nj0310 жыл бұрын
I tend to revert to my unimproved voice, it feels like I have to strain more and more to keep talking in my morning voice. But I haven't been exercising it long enough and I haven't been consistent enough. Even so I can already feel there's some permanent improvement in how I sound, I just have to keep at it.

I love when women sing lower (I LOVE Lana Del Reys cover of that Sleeping Beauty song). I'm sure there are many women who could sing very well if they sang where it was more comfortable for them, but it seems like a lot of the time we're steered to sing higher for whatever reason. When I was in middle school, my school would get together with other schools and throw a little program of a few songs to sing, and they would automatically place me with the sopranos. I. Am. No. Soprano. I feel like if they stuck me in the altos, I would've gotten more out of the experience and maybe appreciate my own voice a lot more instead of hating it.

1. Work on posture. Good posture leads to good breathing which leads to good sound. Relaxed shoulders, grounded knees and feet. 2. Do gentle voice exercises. Humming is a good way to begin. Singing is a fun way to open voice. Use hands and face to further sound. Acting classes are another option.

Your voice will deepen a bit as you grow, Not as much as a guys, but it will sound normal." I'm in highschool and my voice is practically the same. I get "Omg you sound like you are a little girl not a highschool girl!" its so embarresing and people call me annoying and people dont really want to talk to me.... and i dont know how to change it

Don't start smoking to have a deeper voice. I have 10 years in radio broadcasting and i also do voice over. I'm only 5'4 and 110 pounds,and when people see me they cant believe that such a big voice comes out of such a little man. What i want to say is that your type of voice can be a really good thing. Disney will use voices like yours to promote different products or kids shows or movies. Show all them people what you can do with your voice!

That depends. If you're born with an unattractive singing voice, there's not much you can do about that. But if you do have a voice that people like to listen to, but lack certain techniques to make the most of that voice, then you can definitely improve it a lot. Anyway, I think these breathing exercises you learn are good for your health in general, not just for singing. So they'd probably benefit most people. regardless if they want to sing or not.

I met a friend who also wishes to do a deep voice. Or maybe she said to have it... Anyway I'm checking this out for her.

A powerful voice...one that gets your point across, in my opinion, would be more important than the tone.

Y'all want a Yagami Yato voice while I hate my voice because it makes me sound / look cute & I think it makes me look unprofessional 😂

A tip I have is to not talk as often. You have a deep voice when you first wake up because you didn't use them for about 8 hours. They're relaxed. So, the less you talk throughout the day, the deeper your voice can get. What I mean by this is to not talk when it's unnecessary. Only talk if you _need_ to talk.

Also when you haven’t eaten for more than 10 hours your voice will be better

Really just singing, humming and breathing for 3 months can make that big of a difference? Amazing. Thanks defiantly looking for classes

Just gotta say thanks for this, It's hard for a reverse trap like me but I have been doing it for a few years I just have to figure out how to do it at will and make it sound natural
