The root problem as is clearly explained in this video, is the notion, the belief "you are a Person", then comes the suffering that goes with that false idea. This is a clear video especially to help with trauma.

First we recognize the trauma is there ,here and now. Then we observe without judgement.That which observes is not bound by trauma but the awareness in which everything takes place.

Such an important reminder, I often get triggered by things and brining awareness to the sensation without thought or opinion is a much kinder way to heal it

🎤 I'm so proud of you when you said that, "let go of trying to feel better." I too did the experiment with it, and as you mentioned, I instantly experienced peace. In his book, "The Surrender Experiment" , Michael A. Singer also has mentioned during his journey of self discovery that, " The depths of my meditation were all I cared about. I was willing to face loneliness and fear, and not grab for relief." Yes, it's difficult to cultivate non resistance but day by day, the strength to be okay with this difficulty also gets enhanced. Thank you Sunny for such an incredible explanation of trauma.✍️

Today I was quite disturbed by the redundant stress that has not been healed and has been affecting me for a long time. I wanted to come out of the feeling and I coincidentally saw the notification of your video and gave it a try. To my surprise, it worked instantly. I could identify the stress between my eyebrows and without resistance I brought my awareness to it as you guided and it got released immediately with a smile on my face ✨✨. Thank you so much🙏🙏.

Thank you Sunny so much in your beautiful calm message of no judgement no resistance observing of (the) trauma. I feel to let go the working on it for this deeper letting go of all thoughts about why and what to do with it. It's not like i can make sense of it or do a good job of dealing with it. Hello Sunny, My practice is progressing well, with my two meditation sessions a day, your videos, and the daily practice of presence. But one question is bothering me: Since our purest nature is the witness, the observing presence, the silent Self that wants nothing and needs nothing, what are we as human beings living the earthly adventure? A mere perishable ego that the Self observes with amusement, in order to gain material and experiential expension? Practicing self-inquiry, do we simply remain an ego, but a purified ego, if I may say so, an ego that understands, through meditation, that its ideas, desires and sensations are just wind? Or maybe, as the Self, we create an ego, to expand and experiment on earth or anywhere else ? Martin

Please could I ask a question ? If we are not our thoughts and emotions does this mean that Love is not real ? The bond we have with someone is not our true selves ?
@brianlittrell7974 ай бұрын
You are love. Love is real. You are real and eternal. Thoughts and feelings are not the core of who you are. They are not your core identity, which is pure awareness or pure consciousness. Thoughts and feelings arise out of pure awareness. They arise out of YOU and can express who you are, which is love, peace, joy. OR your thoughts and feelings can express who you are NOT, such as fear or negativity.

Yessss, thought feed the emotion - emotion feed thoughts… How about when emotion comes and body resist that emotion and not able to feel it fully… Emotions comes for mili sec and go thn comes for mili sec and thn go.. this pattern Kees going

Hi Sunny! I've been hearing a couple of non-duality teachers mentioning there's still work to do after awakening. For instance, Angello Dilullo talks about the importance of doing "shadow work" after this first "stage" whe one shifts perspective. Is facing trauma (I assume it comes in the form of recurring vasanas), the same as doing shadow work? Thanks! 🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴
