If you want more heat for less power definitely add an internal fan to circulate and prevent hot spots. also consider lining in foam insulation board :) Bubble foil is crap, like really crap. Just leave clearance between heating elements and the foam; you can get fire resistent foam boards too.

Kramer, I would move the thermometer or add another one at the other end of the box, so you get a more accurate temp reading. Great Video. Teaching me things I didn't know I was interested in.

Hey Kramer, you should build a steam- / heatbox combo. So you could recurv bows and wood for futur projects and do your laminated bows

You might want to rethink your placement of the baseboard heater isn't that going to put a very concentrated heat source right next to the bow? causing one side of the bow to be heated drastically faster than the other side. And couldn't that over dry the wood or cause it a Warp?

Interesting look at it . I just did a d-flex reflex and when cooking it the bottom end probably did just that . Tho at full draw the bow looks tillered just fine and shoots ok . The top limb when strung stays nearly straight but bends like it should . Good shooter . Ugly bow . Well ish

Plywood is expensive for me right now. I did a down and dirty carbord box. Lined it with aluminum foil two window flaps on top to check temps and whatnots. I poked my heat gun end the end of the box and set it to high. It brought the temp up to 180 degrees nicely. Two hours and the laminate bow I made I mentioned worked out wonderfully. Hastag poor man heat treat vox lol. Worked beautifully tho.

@@ShatterproofArchery few uses and I now need to do some reinforcing with some simple square framing and that bubble foil you used . And get that light instead of my heat gun . Im old and don't like to babysit anymore. Lol

You could literally sell the soundtrack of all the different noises/tool sounds and background sounds and rearrange them as a song....
