Just dry the glass and smear a little washing up liquid onto the glass with a cloth or paper towel, where you usually get the condensation. It will look cloudy at first but will go clear once it dries. The washing up liquid creates a barrier to stop moisture forming on the glass. I heard shaving foam rubbed into the glass, allowed to dry and lightly buffed to remove smear marks, works too. The washing up liquid definitely works, as I use it on my windows along the bottom two inches of the glass.

I'm going to try this. I leave the windo cracked and even run a dehumidifier and still get bad condensation some days

Better to find out why the window is excessively cold. Warm air hitting cold surface condenses the water.

It must work coz you dont have any condensation on ya windows, mind you there wasn’t any before you poured the salt so was it the empty bowl that took it away ?
