Sorry, that's not 5 min job. By the time you do the measurement, cut, unfold the tread, and sew it will going to take you 30 to 1 hour

Too complicated. Cut with double turn up allowance then stitch.

Interesting that was no close up of the finished hem and doing this does not take 5 minutes. From experience the final stitch line is a precision step that takes a lot of preparation and skill to make jeans look as if they haven't been altered.

There is an easier way without all the cutting and ripping threads out..... even when I've had 3" to "loose" it was easy easier than this.....sorry....
