She is so sweet! My youngest is 9 years old now and yet I find myself watching videos like this all the time! Babies are so special especially @ the newborn stage. There is nothing like your newborn all nuzzled up and falling asleep on your chest. I think it brings just as much comfort and bonding for the parents, as it does the baby.

We just had our first child about three weeks ago. I sometimes get anxious just feed her, so this helped a lot. It will take awhile to get some of the techniques down, though.

Your cutie baby looks much bigger than our newborn! Our baby is almost 2.5 weeks old and he is only 7lbs. Babies are sooo cute, but they do seem fragile. Fun fact: Babies are born with a soft spot on top of their heads because their skull hasn't fused together yet. My wife calls it a "self-destruct button"

Having my first in June! Some of these positions (including the rotating) look like they're probably easier for people with bigger hands. 😭(I have small hands, I still wear gloves from the kids' section. Preteens, but still). I do have some finger exercise gear so I can at least make my tiny tiny hands stronger.

Regardless of how many videos I watch on how to properly hold a newborn baby, it still terrifies me. We had our baby on December the 22nd of this year, and I want to hold her and feed her. However, she's extremely fragile, like sugar glass, and I do not want to cause any injuries from using improper holding techniques. So, my wife primarily takes care of her, but I change her diapers when I can.

I have 3 kids now, and, although I’m not afraid of holding them anymore, I am afraid of so many other things. I think being scared is just part of parenting. Accepting that I can’t protect them from every possible hurt is a daily struggle, but they need me to face that fear instead of letting it get in their way. Mostly, I’m doing pretty well in that area. You will too. Just be patient with yourself.

Still can't get this right. I get uncomfortable after about 5 minutes and am to freaked out to readjust because I'm afraid of not giving him enough neck support if I move. 😤

Giving me the baby is easy, but giving the baby back is hard. Like my anxiety kicks in giving the baby back, like if I'm doing it properly. Like transferring the baby back to the parents.
