I cannot believe my timing. Literally never have done anything like this. And today at 2am I decided this is what I was gonna do with my time. I thought this video was at least a couple of months old. But five days???? I’m incredibly great ful. I’m not very tech savvy and the written instructions were very difficult to do. Watching you do it while I did it at the same time helped out so much!!!

Around 3:34 if I'm not mistaken, you need to actually take a photo for the DCIM folder to be created.

you don't really nead that DCIM folder as it contain your photos and stuff and can be deleted later

You don't need a DCIM folder on a new SD, it's just for old pictures you want to save with an old sd, but you do need to create the pit.bin by opening the sd card in photos

You can use the camera and view your photo album normally if you just take the SD card out, right? Or will it still have the twilight launcher when I remove the SD card?

As soon as I used the unlaunch my dsi is now permanently stuck in the settings and formatting it doesn't allow me to even go to the normal dsi menu. How would I fix this?

hey, I have followed every step to a tee, and I know for a fact I did not mess anything up, on a DSi xl, every single game I try to run, GBA, DSiware, DS, all gives me "an error has occurred." in red text in the nds-bootstrap boot screen. Is there anything that could potentially cause this? SD card errors? If anyone has had this issue and was able to resolve it, PLEASE get back to me, Thank you

i followed the steps all the way to rebooting on Unlaunch. the dsi turned off and when i pressed power button to reboot, the power light turns on as well as the screen but its black. help please?

I tried doing this through my windows laptop. it has an SD card slot, I have a micro SD adapter but I don't have an SD card usb adapter, still i continued trying to download the files to my micro SD and it didnt work. It showed that the micro sd was either a fat32 or a different file(exFat or something), even though i downloaded multiple programs to change the file. Not only was that my first issue, but the Twilight files would not copy into the micro sd, it wouldn't download anything at all. so im having a really fun time...

FunkyScott I need to undo the Wii U homebrew and vWii homebrew and do it all over again cause some files on the sd card were missing while getting the KZfaq revival I screwed it up I accidentally deleted the aroma files

I went through this tutorial and completed it with success however when I try to go multiplayer or download play in any game then the wifi doesn't connect. Wifi signal icon is red and also games say that unable to connect or find anything. I was able to connect wifi before. And I can't find any setting in twilight that would address that. Solutions? Or is it supposed to be like that?

5:40 yo, have done this twice before, trying to do this on another DSI, followed everything perfectly, nothing happened here, any idea on what to do? Edit: if anyone is having any issues, it might be because the pit.bin file you dragged in MIGHT have a (1), mine did because ive done this before, thats what messed things up, just go back to the sd card, delete both pit/tip files, put the sd card in the DSI, go to the SD part on the camera app, put the SD card back in the PC, redo the pit.bin steps, make sure there's no (1). That fixed everything.

its working on my 8gb sdcard but when i swapped to 32gb microsd im stuck at nocash unlaunch and twilight menu is missing. i suspect my new sdcard is not recognized and yes ive formatted to fat32 and 32kb allocation size. can i not just simply copy and paste everything from my 8gb card to another card?

Yo, doing this soon, is it a good idea to use this on my childhood DSIXL (very great condition, never taken care of anything this good before), or should i use it on a new one, i have plenty of spare handhelds that siblings never used, but I'd really like to use this on THE ds that i use/used. Edit: Works perfectly, just backup your stuff, just need games now...
