Great tips- I don't have the space for a tumble dryer or a dishwasher which saves a lot on water and electric. I have recently got a steam shot and thought it was good value for money and cleaned things that were always seemingly impossible; like the door-jamb of the bathroom (black deposits!) and other corners. I also use it with varying degrees of effectiveness on the oven often in combination with Mr Muscle oven cleaner foam. I bought it initially to help clean the metal blinds and it was great for that and I switch to the hoover with the brush attachment a few days later for the new dust. I also have black grout which should be white! I tried a 'mould and mildew' remover and when I used it it had a strong bleach smell. It turns out this stuff has got chlorine in it! So it smells like a swimming pool but it really canes through the black especially if you leave it on for 15 mins or more- it's better than bleach. I use the steam shot after with the grout attachment. I also like the steam shot for giving a quick once-over on outside windows when you can't be bothered to clean them properly (uuurgh there's a storm?!) I also love to use cornflour for windows as it has just the right level of abrasion to give a wonderful gleam. The steam shot also gets used to clean the clothes washer. The lemon idea is great! I have a travel cup which gets smelly despite washing; so I get a little baking soda and the old bit of lemon and some boiled water in a bowl and it removes the smells and the source of odour. One more thing; the radiators. I never knew how to clean them but I figured out how to take the top grill off and I use a combination of the steam shot, a radiator cleaner device and a hair dryer to blow out the fluff. Now things are much better at home and I've tackled a lot of the cleaning issues that seemed 'beyond me'.

I've used an older version of the steam shot (probably 6 years ago or so) and it didn't work as well as I thought it would. I'm sure that newer versions are better though and I'm glad it is working so well for you! It sounds like a handy tool! We don't have many homes with radiators here, so I have luckily never had to clean any. Great tip though! I've never heard of using corn flour before on windows. Very interesting concept. I really appreciate hearing all of your great tips! Thanks so much for sharing! Wishing you the best for your day! :)

Great to see your smiling face again Deb, it's been a while since your last cleaning video. Lemons work wonders but as you said they can be expensive, especially these days. I've been given many balls of twine for the garden, looks like I have another use for it 😂

Hello Rob! Thank you for checking out the video! The lemons with lots of seeds are harder to clean with ☺️ and I hope you’re a better twine roller than me! 😅 Your support is all so appreciated Rob! Thanks so much 💐
