Sweet, this lesson series is gonna be a great partner to the Country Fingerstyle Guitar book I bought recently. Highly recommended, btw, in case people are curious about checking some of Levi's books out, they're easy to get into and cover a lot of bases. I'm glad I ordered mine, should keep me occupied throughout the summer to come. I must mention that my proper introduction to hybrid picking was, oddly enough, Brett Garsed, in his first instructional video. He made it look way too easy, but huge inspiration all the same.

Levi, really nice job. Great slow speed and then practical examples, great split camera angles.

Hey Levi, awesome lesson. Most lessons out there are about what to play (as in songs) and not how to play (as in fundamentals) and IMO the latter is way more important to learn properly. Keep on rocking!

Hey Levi, I have been anxiously awaiting the next "Clay Day" because those have become very special days for me! This is another excellent example of your down to earth, very well thought out, highly enjoyable and inspirational "Meat n Potatoes" approach that showcases your attention to detail and covering all the bases. This is where you and your channel really shine amigo! Sure hope you don't get any static because of this video! That "Chord" DID sound kind of familiar. 😱😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏

Very nice lesson - camera gadget thingy does make this work :) I was trying to get into some hybrid pick, but lacked a bit of motivation and some good prctice ideas. This solves both of those issues so thank you :)

I see a lot using what would be just called the m finger and pick. I don't really want to learn full fingers. Just the pick and middle to in basic skip strings and get a xtra pick finger in there lead wise.

Lookin forward to the next level of this. I can already do all of this what I would consider well and can play mystery Train but I struggle working these concepts into my own improvisation. Basically I can do it all but I haven’t figured out how to use this or open string scales in a musical way.

Hi Levi. This seems to be a very neat camera attachment thingy. What is the name of that? (Where can I get it?) And would you recommend it for anayzing/checking out your own right hand technique? Thanks a lot
