Dr. Rowe shows exercises to strengthen your hips to make it easier to walk, use stairs, and move.
Each exercise will focus on different muscles that are highly associated with hip pain and stiffness (including the glutes, hip flexors and rotators). By strengthening these muscles, we may get more pain-free range of motion.
To get the best results, go through them all and use what works best for you.

Dr Rowe, I want to let you know how much I appreciate your videos. I will be brutally honest and say I have never held chiropractors in high regard, thinking that a lot of what I have seen in practice is at best, cheap sideshow tricks - and at worst, downright dangerous. All that cracking of joints and absurd twisting people into pretzel shapes. Your channel has completely revised my view. I am sure there are still chiropractors I wouldn't let anywhere near me, but I would have complete confidence in seeking treatment from you, and in following your videos. Your calm, professional and considered approach focussing on muscles and movement, not bone-cracking theatrics is very reassuring. Thank you.

Always perfect timing. I have been having so much annoying achey pain from my outer hips to my knees. I know it's because I have been sitting so much, but too much walking feels like my hips are going to pop out of their sockets.

I can relate! When I was in a job sitting most of the day I decided to set my alarm and each hour I would get up and move. Stretch, exercise or just walk for a minute. It actually improves productivity and my manager wanted to take the initiative state wide. Be well 🤍

Try a couple of deep exhales with the letter f and even letter s till you are completely empty. Then wait for the inhale reflex. Observe where your breath goes towards, your core.

Dr Rowe, can you do a short or sequence on targeting/ stretching the sides of the body? Don't know what lives there but if I swing around it cracks like thin ice. 😊

Doc, maybe you could make a video on tips about how to sit at the office to prevent hip/low-back/sciatic issues (i.e. chair height, posture in the chair, tips on how not to slouch, chair brand recommendations, if any, etc.)

I learned there is The Big Three of Mcgill but I wonder if these exercises are good for a guy who has been working out for 8 years. I think my lower back and core is strong but I noticed I sometimes feel pain in my lower back if bend or squat incorrectly. What should I actually do?
