How to improve neck rotation | The MSK Physio
Many struggle with regaining full neck and head rotation after various injuries or related pain. This exercise is a nice way to start retraining that skill. You also learn about the precursor thoracic flexibility required to promote full neck movement.
Essentially, once must be able to extend their upper thoracic spine to allow for full rotation. Something like this is highlighted in a study by Kraus et al., (2008) who found that manipulation to the upper thoracic spine resulted in increased cervical, or neck, flexibility and reduced pain with neck movement.

Finally I have found what is going on with my neck range of motion/ect. I need to look more into your thoracic and neck exercise videos. I need to get into a daily routine to get my forward head posture back in line. Arthritis and sitting alot sure doesn't help me. Thanks
