Fun fact: The idea for the song "Yesterday" came to Paul McCartney in a dream. The same is true of the Twilight series, as Stephenie Meyer had a bizarre dream of a girl falling in love with a vampire, which she then used as inspiration. So yes, creativity can be greatly enhanced by dreams.

I was thinking about practicing guitar in lucid dreams. But the problem is that my fingers are always messed up when I get aware that I'm dreaming. It's the technique I use to find out if I'm dreaming or not. I might ask for a dream character to play something. It might work.

Try focusing more on the feeling and motions of it not as much on the visual part of it. I for example love racing and especialy rallying in lucid dreams, if i don't pay attention to the interior (steering wheel, shifter, pedals, handbrake etc) and focus more on the feeling and motions of it.. then everything just works, the car is predictable and feels like a real one, lots of fun. anyways that's the way i get around janky body parts (arms,legs) in lucid dreams, but try experimenting on your own and see what works for you. edit: try learning guitar first irl or at least practicing a bit beforehand (watching videos of other ppl playing also somewhat helps, not as affective) since it might lead your brain into making an absolute abhorent catastrophe of an attempt at "simulating" a guitar
