thanks for the reminder man.... this was one aspect of the game that was really ticking me off... it was becoming a cyclical circle of doom for me... the more I failed at passing the harder I made my passes and the more I failed... going into practice mode absolutely develops and reinforces your confidence to try different things that you may have given up on and can't really practice or improve while playing in game... I got into a cycle of doing the same things every time because that was what worked for me at the time

And always remember you can cancel passes with L1. Thanks for the pointers though. Was getting frustrated with the hard passes not connecting. Like in real life though sometimes you just need a little touch for that pass.

After watching this video, and practicing 3-on-1 in team practice mode for about 25 minutes, I'm able to complete about 70% of my passes successfully.... but only with pass assist at 100/100 and human pass accuracy at 100/100. With those settings at 50/100 about 1 out of every 12 passes hits the intended receiver's stick 🙄

sometimes I have a clear line to pass at a PP for example.I press in the right direction with the right power but he passes the puck out of the period.I just don't get it.I love the game but this gets me mad.

Nice video. The only reason I haven't switched from 21 to 22 was the passing... 21 is finally dying because of gamepass so I had to switch over. Go red wings

I'm still can not figure out passing. I think I'm missing on how to actually do the pass with the controler. I'm throwing passes all over the place and rarely to a team mate. How do I choose where to pass to. For example should I press the right trigger then push the right stick in the direction I want to pass? (just an example but does not appear to help.)

you aim with the right stick, then press the button Main problem could be connection though - which makes the game react at a different time than your input

I sometimes find myself holding on to my pass because the lane I see closes but then I am left holding down the pass button. Any suggestions on what I should do when I am stuck holding down pass.

Why can’t my custom player ever receive passes from my teammates??? Is there something I can change?? Also why is NHL 19 locked when I pay EA for EA play? I’m about ready to just drop EA all together
