Is there a way to show this daily commercial income fluctuation? I´m asking because the number next to the budget shows not daily or hourly even, but weekly income, so the "after dark DLC effect" can just not be seen in this number i suppose. Not saying you´re wrong, I can easily imagine how much of a difference is between 0% commercial income at night, and a peak of ... lets say 500% of the daily average from 9-12. It´s just that, in my opinion, the fluctuation in the weekly income does indeed represent the way industry produces income in a very ... unsteady (forgive my english!) way. I was playing on a city with "some" industries (i had every unique factory, plus some oil industries, just to print me money basically). The weekly income went up and down from -50k to 100k within days and weeks even, very unpredictable. On the economy screen the income from commercial showed a constant, like, 5k (didn´t feel relevant to me, i have to admit), but the income from warehouses and unique factories explained the fluctuation to me, showing numbers from 100k to 250k.

@@ChristophSchrooten One in-game week is just 5 minutes in real life. It will take two months to complete a full day/night cycle.

Well you can only tax people like 12% in the game which is way less than what people get taxed in Europe with free or very affordable unis

@@tea_and_crumpets6919 I live in Finland and study economics I know how the taxes work in Europe. They are higher in every single country that has good school system, universal healthcare and overall better quality of life which is enabled by the taxes. There are countries which tax less but they don't have same benefits

The new waste management system works very well. I'm using it in some new cities, the waste treatment facility burns as much trash as 4 or 5 incinerators, but you have to have landfills or waste transfer facilities to collect and temporarily store trash. treatment facility trucks only collect trash from storage facilities, they don't provide trash service directly. Unlike the other things that have to be micromanaged, the AI for waste management is actually somewhat clever. You can have a waste treatment plant and you decide where you want it to serve with transfer facilities, you can even mix and match the new waste management buildings with normal incinerators and the AI will allocate trash correctly so that nothing gets over-burdened. You only really have to balance the number of transfer facilities to the capacity of the large treatment plants - and you can still have normal incinerators doing any portion of the work in your city that you want. It's not like the fishing industry AI which is incredibly idiotic, there you can have fishing ports, fish factories etc and you'll frequently have the fish factory shut down because it doesn't have enough fish, while all the fishing ports are complaining "nowhere to send fish" because the fishing ports are wasting all their fish delivery trucks on intercity exports by road :(

@@raistormrs naw, I just mean that Chinese and UK water is different (something about having the minerals making the water taste harsher), so brewing UK tea in China wouldn't taste right but yeah, who cares when the town fire is invitingly warm?
