How to make your own Herbal Infused Oils to use in your DIY skin care products. In this video I show you how easy it is to infuse dried plant material into a carrier oil and how easy it is to decant herbal oil, so you can use the supercharged oil in your DIY skin care and aromatherapy products.
All you’ll need is some dried plant material, sunflower or olive oil and and herbal press. Herbals oils are great ingredients to support hte intention of the aromatherapy products you make at home.

I had lavender buds & chamomile flowers infused in olive oil. I used this infused oil for my soap bars. They smelled amazing! 🤤 Last month, I used calendula flowers infused in olive oil. I made body butter & lip balm using this oil infusion. I had bug bites on my leg & feet. They were itchy. I used my body butter on them that evening & next day, they were practically gone! 😳 I still have this oil infusion & I’m going to make bug bite salve from your live video today using my calendula oil infusion! 😻 I have another oil infusion which will be ready by the end of this week & it is chamomile flowers infused in olive oil! This is my third time making my oil infusion & I enjoyed doing this! ❤️

Love infusing herbs in oil and storing them. Will use the proper cheesecloth and the herbal pressor method. 😊

@@officialamygalper I used the flowers of Chamomile, hops and lavender as a massage blend in olive oil to relax the calf muscles of my legs. Also Chamomile flowers infused in olive oil as a hair conditioner , adding a few drops of vitamin E as a preservative while storing for 4 months. I found both blends beneficial when used 😌

@@officialamygalper Calendula, Comfrey and Arnica. I will be making some tinctures with mullein and marshmallow, elderberry as well as syrup. I made a magnesium spray with lavender and helichrysum last night. No legs cramps and slept well.

How much oil do you pour into the jar with herbs & how much infused oil are you able to extract? I feel like the herbs and cloth keep drinking all my oil 😩

Hmmm. I am not sure I understand your question. The trick is that you have to squeeze out the oil! I fill the jar 1/2 to 3/4 full of herbs then fill with oil.
