Brother I was stressing over if I should drill the 6.5s through the door and you had the amazing idea to just zip tie it to the existing bracket. You saved me so much time, money and stress

I have the same 2005 crv and I was looking for the speakers solutions and your idea solved the problem

Very nice, pretty interesting and thinking of doing it the same way instead of cutting the door

I would use small long bolts, washers and nuts, locktite to avoid rattle if I'm putting this much time on this upgrade

HEY!! GREAT VIDEO>>But how did you deal with the four speaker wires on each side of the front doors.? I twisted mine together Negative to negative and Positive to positive But Im having problems with the fade on my stock crv headset...Maybe those 2 of the 4 are crossover wires???

Not sure what your wiring setup is on your car. On my CRV I only have one speaker wire going to each speaker from my new Sony head unit.

@@joemartz7512 OH Im using the factory head unit I think the set of four wires I have comining from each front speaker is Factory tweeter crossovers to the front dash tweeters in my CRV I guess I twisted them together ! No real issues with sound ...Surprisingly!! I did what you did on your first video with the screws and used rubberized silicone glue all around speaker bracket and screws They sound good !! I got Skar speakers from amazon

don't you have factory tweeters in the dash? if you didn't hook those back up that would probably be a good thing since you already have tweeters on your new speaker. 4 way? never heard of that. Blaupunk lies about their amp power ratings so that disqualifies the brand as whole in my book. if you're happy with, that's all that counts, I guess
