It’s in between the shift knob and the reverse lock out pull collar.

There is a screw that holds that top peice on. You should be able to reattach it.

Hey Kyle, yes it is the veloster N shifter extension and knob set. It’s a direct bolt on for us Elantra N.

You can literally get out of first gear with 0 gas. I would rev it out and then let off the clutch that way while your letting off the clutch it has some gas to start moving.

Go to N mode or custom max the engine its easier for me atleast.

Hey Otirix. If you're having trouble in 1st, just hover the RPMs at 1500 before letting your foot off the clutch completely. No need to really hang around pushing the clutch in. 1500 is the sweet spot where you can give it a little gas but you won't cause the engine to stop.

I think it really depends on people. Also, it's depending on cars. Came from WRX and I believe it's a pretty $#!t box and weird gear ratio 1st to 2nd gear. And, it gets tricky unless you are used to it. EN is very soft, easy, and effortless even compare it to civic 6mt. With EN, a sweetspot bite point is pretty forgiving. I do both. I let go of clutch to a sweet spot and put on gas pedal and let clutch go completely. Just keep driving and don't think about it. And, you will find your own way.

No, not at all. Your still able to remove the metal adapter and reinstall the oem knob if you’d like.

Interesting they are all the same push style so it really needs to be pulled hard, one hard pull.

We have a video for the billetworkz shifter install. You need their adapter in order to install any threaded adapter. Only other way is using a tap and die set on the stock shifter.

@@KDMStation is the adapter sold separately? I would be able to get the adapter from bullietworkz and then get a shifter knob from raceseng? Looks like raceseng doesn’t make a knob directly for Elantra n Appreciate the reply.

Ever since of the install, how’s the daily driving ? Worth it? Would you prefer a heaver knob ?

@@Allhailmateo so honestly the weighted shift knob is a great mod. But we have recently since installed the boomba transmission adapter and transmission bushings and that has really made the manual transmission feel like it should have. You don’t have that eco feeling gearbox anymore. But the billetworkz weighted knob is a must. They sell a hybrid version that I believe is a little more heavier as well. But this is perfect.

I was looking into the boomba candy too! Now I gotta get all three, while the install of the shifter looks easy, how was the transmission install items ?

@@Allhailmateo we haven’t done the shifter bushings in the en due to them being slightly different than the vn. But the install was fairly easy just a little intimidating if you haven’t done it before but once your in there it’s easy.

We don’t have a base model. But I would try and remove your shift knob to see if it looks the same as ours before the installation.
