This is the best idea! We have installed a new dishwasher into our caravan, our own DIY! Bought from Big W and installed by Troy, this has come up an absolute treat and will change the way caravans are made and caravan owners travel. Do not miss this one!

Love your van and how comfortable and practical you have made it. We brought a topper similar to yours. So comfortable. The overhang made it a bit bulky and took up space so we took the topper out of the zip cover and cut off the excess and made it exactly the size of the mattress and curved the ends and put it back on the bed in the cover. We used a cerated bread knife to trim the memory foam. So much easier to make the bed. Up to you 😊 Happy travels 👍

Great job mate, we've been rocking the same dishwasher for awhile in our camper and about to fit it in our new van. They are heavy on power if off grid about 65a continuous for about 20 mins. Heating element must be on the whole time.

Looks good…. My only concern would be the steam venting, As you would know steam & chipboard don’t like each other ?

Hi Ray, thanks mate 👍. it has plenty of ventilation at the rear and the side where the vent is. the board in the van is water resistant, which is much similar to a dishwasher in your house.

Any updates on how the dishwasher is going? My wife sent me this video, we are 10 months into full time c/van life. I’m thinking this is going to be a bit of a mission with the tool I have with me 😂😂😂.

Absolutely love the dishwasher, probably one of our best modifications. We use it most nights. Haha, yep, a few tools might be in order when you pass bunnings 😉

Hi Cath, l ended up putting a board tightly over the top of the dishwasher and at the bottom rear to stop it moving up and backwards. no screwing into the unit was necessary. It is easy to remove if we need to 👍
